Recently my travels took me to the Market Commons area of Myrtle Beach SC. We wanted a local diner experience, so we chose Joe’s Diner by the Airport. What a delightful experience, just like you’d imagine in the movies. Friendly staff, welcome atmosphere, great variety of menu items and a real sense of nostalgia.
Those bygone days when friends met for meals and didn’t discuss morbid political and social topics but were happy to reminisce about happier times. Service was prompt, food prepared to order, total dining experience made me feel 10 years younger. Next time your air travels or simply near the Market Commons area for shopping visit Joe’s, you’ll be glad you did.

Great food. Lots of daily specials. Large selection of items on the breakfast buffet on Saturdays and Sundays. Home of the Free banana pudding Wednesdays and Free soup Thursdays! Very reasonably priced.

Nothing fancy but tasty. We went here specifically for a good old-fashioned home-cooked breakfast and Joe’s diner did not disappoint. I especially like the fact that they’re using real potatoes and not frozen square deep fried packaged potatoes. My husband had the flounder and really enjoyed it. It was a nice piece of fish and the breading was light. We will be back but probably not on a Sunday next time because it was really crowded.

We had the buffet. Scrambled eggs were uncooked and bacon very greasy. An older lady even asked to get her eggs more done. The person said grab what you want and give it to the waitress. My guess is they were going to throw them in the microwave. Grits were good, but you really can’t screw those up. Biscuits and gravy were okay. $40 for 2 people, it definitely was not worth it. Ordered 2 buffet and 2 8 oz orange juice. Needless to say, we barely made it back to our rental and had to fight for the bathroom. Very disappointed.

Great spot to eat. You have lots of options. My son loved the breakfast buffet. Right off the main road heading north. Very close to the mall. Love that they have those biodegradable straws. ❤️ friendly service and clean. Thank you so much

The eggs Benedict with tomatoes were cooked perfectly and the blueberry pancakes were excellent. The staff is very friendly and the atmosphere was relaxing.
Many locals done there and that should tell you something. I look forward to visiting again in the near future.

The girls that work here are fabulous servers and the food is excellent. You feel like you are having a great meal at your nanas table. Its a wonderful place with very reasonable price. I would highly recommend trying it. You’ll be a customer for life

A true diner experience. The breakfast buffet on the weekend was really good. Decent variety of items. The food on the buffet was fresh as well and was frequently getting replenished while we were there. It’s always nice to find good hole in the wall places like this to eat at. I’d definitely recommend for breakfast. Especially over any of the breakfast chain restaurants.
