It was really quiet on a Friday morning, but I still had a good experience. Our server was nice and we got our food quickly.

I ended up getting a breakfast burrito, which was good. There was something in it that was sweet- not a fan of that, but a tasty burrito!

Good breakfast spot!

It was difficult to find, as you cannot slow down driving to look for the place. Once we located the restaurant, we parked near the Lyric and walked around the corner. The diner was everything we had hoped for. The food was fine except for the grits, which were lumpy and watery, the attempted reconstitution having utterly failed. Unfortunately, the server removed Wally’s plates before he was finished eating, although there were only three customers in the place. It happened so quickly; suddenly the food and server were gone, and no do-overs were possible. We are not inclined to return.

Waitress so rude . We simply ordered , asked a few questions , food was great, asked for a coffee refill and she never came so I got up and asked another person for a fill up. My daughter wanted a refill so we asked her again . She is 25 years old at most and she shouted out in the restaurant not to interrupt her, me are rude .. the funny part is – now she is super nice to everyone else . . Acting this way at 25 years old and in the waitress business. Ballsie little girl . Girl her !! Not nice

Edit 6/28/2018 : As promised I am updating my review. I had the cheesy eggs meal. It was pretty good overall but the sausage and hash browns seemed a touch overdone. I would definitely come back and try some more things though.

I had a spicy chicken wrap. It was okay but it wasn’t great. That was probably my own fault for choosing that. I should have picked a breakfast item because those all looked awesome. I will come back and edit my review once I’ve tried the breakfast.

Subpar food. Soggy toast. Ordered a “big Joe’s breakfast “ with an extra serving of bacon on the side didn’t even receive it. Ordered curbside but still had to come inside. Waited at the door for 10-15 mins before even being acknowledged. (There was no line and only a few dinning inside ) Customer service and food quality is lacking. First time order and won’t be back. I know they changed owners or something but dang didn’t expect to have to re cook my food when I got home.

Joe’s Diner presents a pleasant, welcoming experience and stands out with its hospitality among other establishments on the Main Street. Their breakfast combos are a must try. I had “Joe’s Breakfast” and it’s the perfect meal after a long morning shift. The atmosphere is pleasant, the booths are spacious and comfy, and the staff is very kind. I wish I took more pictures of my food but it just looked way too god so I had to dig in. The food arrived quickly and the overall experience was great 🙂

I still enjoy the old school atmosphere and friendly service. Food is reliable diner fare. Parking is available nearby in the pay lot. You might walk right past it if you’re not paying attention. Good times.

What a great spot! Old fashion diner with great breakfast food. I ordered the eggs, country ham (from Texas ), and biscuits and sausage gravy. Apparently the sausage gravy is the owner’s grandfather recipe and it was delicious. Staff was friendly, the place was packed but the seating not crowded so it’s comfortable for everyone. We were in and out in less than 45 minutes fat and happy . I’ll be back whenever I’m in town.

I can’t believe I’ve never eaten here before. We were set up at Steppin Out as a vendor and needed something to eat so my wife bought us biscuit and gravy. I knew I would be jumping out on the limb here taking a risk trying the biscuit and gravy. Places I have been to when traveling for cooking competitions have not impressed me, but Joe’s Diner biscuit and gravy were perfect. We will definitely have breakfast here again

Good food and outstanding and friendly service. Expect a wait for a seat on the weekends as it gets very busy and the place is not that big. Food portions are generous and delicious. Parking is available in the nearby alley or on the street about a block or so away.
