This was our first time in Oceanside and we decided to come here for our final night. Cheryl was our served and truly had a wonderful attitude and genuine care for our experience. We were about a 15 minute drive from our hotel and needed our phones to get an uber, but were at 10%. She noticed our anxiety about it and made sure to find us a charger to get us home safe. Wonderful human on top of serving delicious food. Can’t wait to come back ♥️

We had a fantastic time at Joe’s Crab Shack in Oceanside! The food was fresh, flavorful, and came out hot — the steam pots (now in bags not pots) and the BBQ crab legs were especially delicious. The service from the waitress to the manager was excellent, with staff who were attentive and friendly throughout. We even celebrated three birthdays at once, and the team made it feel extra special. Great food, great atmosphere, and wonderful service — we’ll definitely return. I included a picture of our view of the sunset from our table.

I’m a regular and I’ve never had a bad experience. Service and food is always top tier. The hostess Maria is always pleasant and friendly. Sarah is my favorite server although ALL of them gives great service, I’ve established a relationship with Sarah and she always gives be the best service. I highly recommend this location to anyone and plan on having my mother’s 76 birthday dinner, and I’ll be requesting Sarah as our server. Very happy with EVERYTHING at the Oceanside Harbor location

Can I leave 10 stars??? Cheryl our waitress was phenomenal from start to finish. She kept our entire experience at Joe’s Crab Shack top notch. Now to the food… absolutely delicious the Boil’s best anyone in our party of 7 has ever experienced. See pics attached. Deserts again another game changer. Where from PA or would be regulars here.!!

The atmosphere felt as warm and inviting. Every dish came out piping hot and bursting with ocean-fresh flavor—the crab was wonderfully tender, and the shrimp was cooked to perfection. Our server, Cherly, was absolutely outstanding; she went above and beyond to make the whole evening a truly memorable catch.

This restaurant is truly an amazing place. The food that we had was delicious, felt like comfort seafood. The food was well seasoned and the seafood was cooked well.
The ambiance of the restaurant was a chill environment and the design is modern. It is also cool seeing sunset in the restaurant. The service was amazing, she was very friendly and knowledgeable.

Awesome view of the dock. Restaurant has reasonably priced seafood. The drinks (I got a mocktail) come in a light-up cup you can take home.

I really wanted to love this visit because it’s been years, and we always stroll past it at the harbor but the experience ended up feeling pretty middle-of-the-road. Our server, Michelle, was kind, but we rarely saw her, and even simple things like water refills took a while.
The calamari came out dry, and the kids’ pizza was… rough. It looked like spaghetti marinara poured on top of a crust and left under a heat lamp a little too long and oddly, it was brought out last, after our crab boil and my Captain’s dish.
With a $120 tab and no alcohol, it just didn’t match the quality or service we hoped for. I hate saying it, because I genuinely wanted this to be a nostalgic return, but I don’t think we’ll be back.

Fun restaurant. If you buy from the cocktail menu, you can keep the Shaker. The boil was delicious, portion is large enough to share between two people.

Excellent environment, chill, beautiful, family friendly or great for a couple outing. Also great for celebrating children’s bday with close family, waitress was kind to hand write bibs and sing happy birthday. Had a really great time, however $$. Prepare to spend about $45-$60 per adult.
