Joe’s Crab Shack offers a variety of favorites from all parts of the sea and shore. From its extensive menu, guests can choose from buckets of seasonal seafood, fried shrimp platters and fish dishes, as well as options from the “mainland” that include steak, sandwiches, and chicken. Guests can indulge in over-sized and creative cocktails, such as the Shark Bite which is playfully garnished with a shark toy. Since its inception, Joe’s popularity has stemmed not only from its menu, but also its retail store. With various pieces of merchandise for purchase, including the ever-popular tie-dye T-shirt with the phrase “Peace, Love and Crabs,” Joe’s has become synonymous with the word “fun.”

Food was good but for the price, I would expect more food to customers that shell out $70 for a bucket of crabs. You would think the biggest bucket of crabs would offer more leg clusters. I received 1 stone crab cluster missing the claw, 1 snow crab cluster missing the claw, and 2 small king crab legs. It was a big disappointment and I will not be returning to any Joe’s crab shack in the future.

The inside of the restaurant is amazing. The bathrooms are clean. There was only one other table with people. Our waitress came to check on us once. The food was horrible. My food didn’t have any flavor. His food was cold. For the money we paid, this was an absolute waste. We will never be back!

The only reason is a 3 is because at the beginning the customer service was great. Maybe that was because it was only 2 tables with people in the entire restaurant. My date and, I and another two topper. However about 3 more groups of people came in, and we didn’t get any more attention. Nit to mention the food had no flavor, just like the server, it appeared good, both the food and the servers, but nothing was there, not even their specialty drinks were good. The place is In an area that’s going down, and they’re looks to be doing the same… you do better going to one of the neighboring casinos to eat.

I visited the place on Saturday August 19th. I waited an hour for a drink and never was asked are you ready to order. The waiter bypassed me twice before one of relatives ask the waiter you never asked if she, which is me If I wanted a drink along with another person at the table. The service is horrible and the manager never did anything to assist with the situation. I regret that my sister and the family came all the way from Dallas and Tyler Texas to celebrate her birthday and wasn’t able to get a meal. I would never go back again. It was a party of 19th and that would have been goodgratitude, all that we received was drinks only and repeat we waiting over a hour just for those drinks. I truly believe this place is races.
