Joe’s Crab Shack offers a variety of favorites from all parts of the sea and shore. The restaurant used to be a lot more fun. We were at the restaurant over an hour, and the servers danced only once when it used to be 3 or 4 times an hour. Our server was very nice. The food, however, was questionable. My coconut shrimp were so greasy, they were inedible. My daughter’s salmon was flavorless and her rice and broccoli had zero seasoning on them. Her friend’s fried fish were good, but that’s about it. The management gave us a free dessert and took my meal off the ticket to compensate. I don’t see any reason to return as all the entrées were overpriced for the quality of food provided.

I had visited other Joe’s Crab Shacks in the past however this was my first time at this particular one. The place was cozy and clean and I had no problem with the place but I always order the same bucket of crab legs and at this place they were not good. The only spice I tasted was salt (that much salt wasn’t needed) until I got to the top part of the front claw and then I tasted a slight bit of spice and heat. These were nowhere near what I had other times and was extreamly dissapointed. I won’t go back to this place but will continue going to other Joe’s Crab Shacks.

The food was good (except my husband’s crab cake tasted a bit fishy), and our waitress, who was also the bartender, was nice. But this place definitely needs a good cleaning, everything looked dirty. The bathrooms were disgusting and all of the servers we saw were unkempt, looking like they just rolled out of bed. Meh.

We had a 15 min wait which wasn’t bad didn’t mind at all.After being seated a waitress came 10 min later took our orders and i tell you she must have went to sleep in the kitchen behind the door. When we finally got our food guessing an hour later by now or drinks are gone and we thirsty from our food she’s no where to be found.Oh and might i add my crab cake was burnt with those yesterday’s fries that was the worst east coast platter i had and my husband medium well Steak came back past well done.

We stopped for lunch for my son’s birthday. I have to say they were very accommodating on short notice. Our waitress was amazing and really went above and beyond to make the experience great. The food was amazing too!
