Best time ever tonight. Jordan Greave was our waiter, (excellent job by the way) appetizers came fast, once we figured out what we wanted. Food was phenomenal!!! Drinks were equal. Had a visit from the manager (Daniel Bulow) he was very friendly, so we will definately come back on a weekly basis!!!

Not bad for a chain restaurant. Great staff and friendly service. Upgraded star rating, I didn’t realize they were understaffed for our surprise party of 17, the manager took care of us, hooked up a birthday for our girl. Did u mention the staff was amazing. I believe her name was Iris, big applause for these folks.

That’s the positive. Long wait times. Uncooked food (very professional about resolving). These are the negatives.
I don’t think I’ll be returning to Joe’s Crab Shack until after they’ve done some damage control. And if I do, I’ll order the king crab. My friend ordered this and she seemed to have loved it. So if your looking for a spot that has friendly service, average sea food, and a fun atmosphere. Then take a chance going there. You might pick a day when it just might be alright.

Despite the kids playground I don’t think this is kid friendly. The fries and popcorn chicken were way too spicy. The restaurant was also very cold and my pot was served with no water so my Lobster and crawfish we’re very dry and the seasoning is only on the outside it doesn’t really cook into the meat very well if at all. The soup serving size was maybe half a cup way too small! Seemed fresh and the service was pretty fast but I don’t think it’s worth it for the price not a good value or experience.

I actually ate here many years ago and thoroughly enjoyed it.
However the place and the area seem to be on their way down the bowl, surprise!
Walked in the door and was greeted by no one.
Had to stand and wait 10 minutes to find out we would have to wait another 35 to be waited on.

Got there around 3 on a Sat and it wasn’t a wait. Got seated with menu’s. Waitress came over after about 5 mins (which was fine by me cause then I could look over menu for appetizer). Food didn’t take long to get to us and was very good. Service was excellent!! Highly recommend going to this establishment!

Great waiter and service, but portions keep getting smaller and smaller over the past few years. We drove one hour and spent $70 on two steam pots and got barely anything inside. They might as well dump the pots and call it “steam plate.” The waiter was so nice, that I didn’t bother to ask where the rest of the food went. Unfortunately, this ends my business with Joe’s crab shack. I won’t be returning.

It is one of my favorite places. We live over an hour a way, so it is always a treat when we get to go! Went there on 12/28/3013. 3 people for lunch, $60, $12 tip, no liquor. Food was excellent as always, as was the service. The place was pretty much empty, yet they sat me in a booth behind the only other people in that section. Every time the guy moved, it felt like a kid kicking the back of my seat. I was going to ask to be moved, but before the server came back they paid their bill and left. Half way through our meal, same situation, empty section, they seat a party of 4 in that same booth. Now there are two people moving around, making seating on our side almost unbearable. We quickly finished our meal, paid the bill and then I asked for the manger. Two people approached me and I told them my concern, Neither really seemed to care about what I was trying to say. There attitude was you have eaten and paid the bill, now leave. Not even an I’m sorry. I was not asking for anything more then recognition of the problem. If I was seeking a discount, I would have talked to them before paying the bill. It really is a shame, I will miss the food there!!!

Everyone is correct about the service here! Waiters have horrible attitudes and a lack of hospitality! Asked if we could get our soup and salad, half hour after we put our order in, waitress responds with a horrible monotone voice, I put the the order, we don’t have all our staff here, we are suppose to have 10, we only have 4. Ummm that’s not our fault. But she tried to make it out to be!

The food is usually pretty good, although the crab can get expensive. The decorations are nice and on a Saturday night there was only a 30 minute wait which is good for the area. But note that they cannot make same-day reservations and plan accordingly.
