Love coming here when I want a filling hero and a lot of options. Also, as someone who eats halal, its hard to find sandwich shops on Long Island that have a fully halal menu. Staff is friendly, the prices are definitely worth it, and there’s lot of seating if you need a third space. There’s parking behind the building and a CVS right next to it so easy to walk over and grab a bite.

Got the sandman and the south shore heroes and I was surprised at the quality and the amount of flavour provided in them. Loved the service and the quiet atmosphere. Very friendly and homey people behind the counter. Huzaifa served us and everything was awesome. Would visit again

So this morning My mother walks in and orders two breakfast sandwiches and an ice coffee. She comes home and her sandwhich was completely wrong. My mother has been ordering only one type of sandwhich the last 10 years and she’s very specific. Egg white pepper jack cheese avocado and spinach on a wrap.. She received eggs and cheese on a wrap. Mind you this sandwhich was $14.14 and the deli was completely dead with no customers. So this is far from cheap and zero excuse.. When I called the deli to complain about the expensive mistake the lady decided to tell
me that she didn’t mess up and my
mother never listed the items that were missing. When she never even offered any kinda of solution or apology I simply stated that we would no longer be entering or purchasing from this business and she laughed and hung up. This is far from professional and inexcusable to treat a customer like that. If she didn’t act the way she did on the phone this google review never would’ve happened. Everyone should boycott this place.

Joe’s Campus Heroes is hands down the best hero spot I’ve ever been to. Whether you’re in the mood for a hot or cold hero, this place has you covered. They offer a huge variety of sandwiches, drinks, chips, and other tasty items. The restaurant is always spotless, with plenty of indoor seating and a warm, welcoming vibe.
What really stands out is the staff. They’re incredibly kind, attentive, and genuinely care about your experience. And now that their entire menu is 100% HALAL, I appreciate them even more for making their delicious food available to everyone.
I tried the new Italian sandwich and it blew me away packed with meat, loaded with flavorful sauces, and just perfectly crafted. The fries? Lightly seasoned, crispy, and addictive. Honestly, everything tasted amazing.
If you’re craving a real hero this is the place. It’s not just good food, it’s unforgettable food.
On top of that i think they are introducing the coffee aswell, i had the chance to try it and it was phenomenal, very very smooth

Oh my God, where do I start. When I walked in this place with my family it was such a friendly environment. The customer service was unbelievably incredible. We sat down and placed our orders. 2 Mad Mack’s with two fries. They had games you can play and had air conditioning. We got our food fast and when we got our food… THE PORTIONS WERE SOOOO BIG. They gave a lot of French fries and a big sandwich that had to be cut in half. After we were done eating the people working there said goodbye to us. This is the basic summary of what I’m trying to say,: You should definitely try this place it’s a 10/10 recommendation from me don’t worry about your money because you will get your worth when you see this size, and don’t forgot the customer service with the great environment!!

This sandwich is massive—footlong and heavy in a good way. For $13 to $15, you get a sandwich that can easily feed two or three people. I could only finish half, and even that was pushing it. It was moist, flavorful, and honestly brought back memories of those hard-to-find halal hero shops from way out in the city.
The second sandwich on our table was the Mad Mac, which is just wild in the best way. It features a fried chicken cutlet, Mike’s mac & cheese, melted American cheese, bacon, and Russian dressing, all served on a toasted garlic hero. It’s comfort food on another level, and just like The Undertaker, it was loaded with flavor and didn’t skimp on portion size.
What stood out even before tasting the food was the value. I’ve been to plenty of sandwich spots that charge the same or more and leave you hungry—not this place. They absolutely deliver on portion and price. The seating area was clean and welcoming, and I can already see this place growing in popularity once more people find out about it.
They’re also planning to expand the menu—possibly into something like Dave’s Hot Chicken—and they’ve already got breakfast options, which I’ll definitely be back to try. It’s rare to find a local halal spot that covers breakfast, lunch, and dinner in one go.
One small heads-up: they use sesame seed heroes. Wasn’t a problem for me, but worth noting for anyone with allergies. We didn’t think to ask, so part of that’s on us—but most places usually go with plain rolls, so it caught me off guard.

I came here with my husband last week for the first time and I was very impressed. I ordered the sand man and he got the south shore. Both subs were amazing and huge. The place was nice and well kept. The coffee bar should be opening soon so I am looking forward to that! Will come again
