Never had a bad meal from here. Glazed beignets are pretty good. My highest recommended item from the menu however is the Joe’s Southern club salad. Tastes delicious and can feed 2 to 3 people.

This is the worst Joe’s I have ever been to. This marrero location is a 0 star at best. This is the only donut shop that never has or makes fresh donuts but they are open 24hrs. They literally won’t make a donut until the sell all of the old donuts that they have mislabeled on display. Horrible. This location is nothing like the others. I visited this location 4xs thinking it was just mistake or bad staff. Never again will I done at this location.

Came to pick up an online order. The employees ignored the window bell. So I walked in. Waitress asked if she can help me from across the room. Very unprofessional. Had an attitude because she was in a conversation with two men laughing. Told her I was there to pick an order up. Order wasn’t ready even though it said it was online. Waited roughly round 10mins. Got the order. Left. Shrimp pasta had a funny smell to it. Tasted spoiled! Gumbo was terrible also. Only thing my in-laws liked was the glazed beignets. Everything else went in the garbage! $60 plus a tip! Down the drain! I’ll never go there again! Not even for donuts! The one on Barataria is 10x better!

Passing through while traveling, and our family stopped in for dinner. The food was fresh and amazing. We ordered the seafood platter, po boys, and hamburgers to feed a family of 10 with 6 kids. Absolutely no complaints! We had to close it out with a sweet treat, the Texas Doughnut! It was huge and tasty! The customer service was amazing, and I am so glad we stopped in. There’s something for everyone, so please check it out!

We visited here after the Gretna Festival at around midnight. There were few people there, nice and quiet -until we walked in . The waitress was sweet and the food was great. We had breakfast. Definitely going back and definitely recommend.

Edit: My favorite go-to place for breakfast. I’d order every morning if I could! I love their buy one get one free Country Breakfast on Uber Eats for only $12.99. Great deal and they give decent portions. You gotta get their grilled biscuit, yum!

Horrible experience over the years! I used to go here often, but now not so much anymore. The service is absolutely terrible. I always put my orders in online and have to walk inside to pick it up everytime because idiots always love to order at the window for some reason like it’s a McDonalds or something. Once I get inside I still have to wait around because the staff always act like they’re too busy to even bother with me when they really aren’t. After I finally get my order, I decided to order two honeybuns. I asked the lady how much they were and she said it’s $2.73, so I told her I wanted two of them and then I handed her a six in ones which is enough for “Two Honeybuns”, and somehow she managed to screw even that up and gave me just one instead which I haven’t noticed until I gotten home.

Dined it at your Lapalco location today and truly disappointed with my experience. Restaurant was busy and understaffed around 9:30. Stood in line waiting to order for 10 minutes. Gentlemen came and sat at the bar and was immediately served. The server Mary Ann had not a care in the world. Her attitude was not great, she catered to her regulars and didn’t give no attention to the rest of the patrons. I’ve seen way better here but I must say in my recent visit the level of service has decreased and they don’t have the staffing they once had. Mary Ann is not the answer! I’d love some attention to training and hospitality to be visible!

I ordered my food online for pick up. I ordered 2 chicken and waffle plates and a sausage croissant with egg and cheese. I paid $1.49 extra for the croissant and added a tip. When I picked up the food the worker read the items that I ordered from the receipt. The bag was tied shut. When I got home my sausage sandwich was made with toast yet was charged for the croissant. The chicken and waffle plates did not come with pancake syrup. The food was good but was disappointed with the mistakes despite paying extra and giving a tip. Beware when ordering online and make sure to check your order before leaving.

Joe’s has always had good food and friendly workers .The problem I’ve encountered on my last order is that I tried to call an order for pickup and was told this service was only available online. I was on the road so I was not going to use my mobile device, I drove to the restaurant and ordered a hamburger steak with a 20-minute prep time,it took 40 minutes for my meal with only 4 customers in the place.
Perhaps management should review the no phone order policy to better serve its loyal customers and just ask the orders be prepaid to avoid fake orders.

I WAITED ABOUT 15mins for OVERCOOKED GLAZED BEIGNETS! When I asked for it to be re-cooked I was told no because of the cook(he didn’t want to re-cook it)! I asked for refund & was told no & the Manager has to be there. This was around 4:45pm. BAD customer service!
