The server ( I think her name is Asia). She gave us great service even though they were super busy. I had the French toast. It was so good. Just the right amount of crispness. My husband had steak and eggs. He said it was very good, cooked just right.
Prices are very reasonable. This is me again.I couldn’t find out how to add new posts, went with my daughter and granddaughter today. My daughter had a veggie omelet which she said the vegetables were evenly distributed throughout the omelet. So it made it very tasty. She also had hash Browns that were cooked just rice. My granddaughter had bacon eggs and a Pancake, and she ate most of it, which is unusual for her and of course, I had the French toast again, we also had a couple sides of bacon that were very good. Our experience was great. We had Yayis as our server this time, she is very prompt and very polite. Great experience with her. Added a couple more pictures.

This is just a good all-around breakfast dive. Expect to wait on Sunday morning because it’s popular. I absolutely love their French toast. They have a lot of choices on the menu for both breakfast and lunch.

I was experiencing some anxiety about my future caloric and nutritional intake and was scouting out restaurants along my route as a driver. I called in an order for a Breakfast Burrito with the hash browns inside. It was huge and delicious.
Definitely will be back. Perfectly made!

Eat Joe’s be happy! Best breakfast in Omaha, hell in Nebraska. Huge portions, friendly fun staff, great service, delicious food, and all at prices that will leave u with plenty left in your wallet for a generous tip. We had the Ruben with a “side” (it was a full bowl not the soup cup I was expecting) of homemade French onion soup, the breakfast bagel special (bacon egg and cheese that puts McDonald’s to shame) and a side order of a taco expecting it to be small (no surprise at this point, it wasn’t). Needless to say we took some to go boxes with us. Total for everything was $23 (for real, even in this economy). We’ll be back with reinforcements soon! 10/10

Been going to joes for a decade. Ordered a biscuits and gravy this am at 8am. You would think the biscuits would be fresh. But nope. My fork wouldnt even cut them. You can tell these were nuked in the microwave. I called and she said they were made this am. Aint no way. Ive been ordering the same stuff for years. She said bring them back. Im already home. Not going to waste my time. But tomorrow I will bring these nasty baked biscuits back.

Everything I was looking for in a “small town” diner. Fast and professional service. I had coffee and water in front of me in less than 2 minutes. I got the chicken fried steak with over easy eggs and sourdough toast. It arrived in about 7 minutes, nice and hot. Highly recommend. True test of a diner is excellent sausage gravy, crispy hash browns, and perfectly runny eggs. They hit all three right on the money. Nice big portion…had to take a to go box with me. All of that with coffee refills and extra gravy for the hash browns was $14. I will definitely be coming back to Joe’s.

We finally got to try this joint on a Monday, it’s packed on weekend mornings like most breakfast places.

It’s a seat yourself kind of deal and the servers get to you as quick as they can, but even on a Monday it’s busy. All the servers will attend to you as they pass by, just because, and they will overhear you discussing the menu with your table and make suggestions, it’s great, I overheard a server being honest about what’s good here and what isn’t. I really like that because the menu is massive. They were playing hole and nirvana on the tv in the restaurant.

The kitchen whips plates out fast. The menu is massive and endlessly customizable, for almost every dish, you can customize the kind of cheese, bread, gravy, etc. the portions are huge. I ended up with two take away boxes just from my food.

Ive been to lots of local breakfast eateries as an omaha native and most are mediocre and unfriendly and inconvenient with payment methods, joes cafe is probably my favorite and stands out.

We ordered pick up and it was great. Super hot even after driving home 15 minutes. Good prices and sausage links were the best.

Had an excellent breakfast at Joe’s. Been in the area forever but this was my first time. I’ll definitely be back. Fair pricing, awesome service, and a homey atmosphere. Pancakes and French toast were tasty and the eggs and veggies tasted very fresh.

The food was super bland and the service was mediocre when there’s barley anyone here! I know I won’t be coming back but worth a try for the old generations that don’t like seasoning.
