Had the smothered burrito while driving through the area on a road trip. Wouldn’t necessarily write home about it but had decent service at this casual cafe / diner spot. I do wish the tortilla had been better quality as the carnitas was cooked well and it was a little overtaken by the mushy, store bought tortilla.

I was super excited to come here n was finally able to! Great food, good service.. until it came to the bill. I got overcharged almost $5. Asked for an itemized bill n made sure I wasn’t wrong before going back n asking for the difference back. I was charged $14.50 for the $12.50 2-2-2 meal, $14 for the $13.50 bacon omelet, $3.50 for chocolate milk. Total should’ve been $31~ Yet my bill was $34.~ plus $1.38 for tax. Almost $36 I was charged.. then I tipped $4 so I paid $40 even in the end total. Their correction was to take $34 minus the $31 it was supposed to be n I got back $2.60 in cash after my card was charged.. not sure how that makes sense but I gave up to not cause a scene trying to explain basic math. Don’t want to come back just for this :/

Busy on the weekends. Classic diner food, great service, and good prices. Definitely a smaller spot but it has its merits. I have been several times and every time I got good service, food came fast, and I definitely recommend going here instead of a Dennys or IHOP.

Staff was really nice. We need to protect these family run joints at all costs, especially for breakfast. That being said grub was not particularly good. Just okay. The inside was also a bit grimey. Usually you want a bit of grime in your local breakfast joint but this place went a little too heavy. Just not very cozy on the inside. I’ll prob be back eventually.

I go into restaurants intending to give 5 stars – I really do. I don’t want to make a difficult job harder than it needs to be, and restaurant-ing is not easy. That said, did not have the best experience here. Seems a little worn inside, but that may be the vibe folks like, but it didn’t sit too well with me. Food started on a high note with the tortilla soup – not bad at all: hardy and flavorful with a little bite of heat. A bit downhill from there. I then had the Mexican Combo Plate and my mate had BLT on whole wheat toast, no mayo. The latter came with mayo – we don’t like to waste food so we kept it to ourselves, trusting they would have gladly replaced it. The tomatoes were a little less than ripe. My plate was passable but hardly inspiring. Little hard to identify by taste what the sauce was that smothered the burrito, it was just kinda congealed, brown possibly oniony stuff. Staff were pleasant enough, but seemed ready for closing time. I like to give places more chances, so I’ll be back – not sure my mate will be, however – and will update if there is an improvement.

Stopped by for breakfast here, it was a pleasant experience. This is not a gourmet place, nor is it priced as one. Amazing value, as you can get a decent breakfast for almost the same as a carton of eggs at a grocery store. Seems like a family operated place, didn’t ask, but definitely gives off the genuine care vibe. Basically if you’re hungry and don’t want to break a bank and still get great service, this is absolutely a place!

Joe’s is a small diner that looks like it’s been around for a long time. The inside is very outdated and COLD. I ordered the Joe’s favorite breakfast bowl with chili on the side. The bowl was good. The chili tasted like a gravy, I didn’t enjoy it much. The coffee was warm, but not hot. We were a party of 5 with different orders.
