First and last restaurant visited in Namibia, and it was great!

The décor of this restaurant is insane, there are so many elements everywhere, it is very fun to discover and walk around. There is a lot of space, which means that big groups can easily sit.
The food was good and the meat very well cooked, but it is probably more catered towards meat eaters rather than vegetarians and others.

Staff was nice and attentive. Only downsides is that it can get a bit loud and it was a bit tricky to find from the city centre.

The place itself is great. Interior is amazing. Well thought. Service is 10/10. so nice, friendly and quick. The steaks were a little too done for our taste and the meat was not very tender. We had the ribeye and the game steak of the day.
However still delicious.

Interesting German style restaurant catering for expats and German tourists. Very busy, we had to wait long time to order and to be served the service was too slow. Prices are relatively high. We experienced better meals in Namibia.

We visited Joe’s Beerhouse on New Year’s Day, and the service was very good considering how busy it was.
We were a bit disappointed that there was no game meat available, as this was highly recommended to us as something to try while in Namibia. That said, the Eisbein was a game changer, perfectly crispy on the outside and very tasty.
The only downside was having to constantly fight off flies, which did take away from the experience a bit.
Overall, still a great experience and atmosphere. We would definitely return, hopefully next time to try the game meat.

Yes, this is touristy but it’s fun and if you’re in Windhoek, check it out. We had the peri-peri chicken liver as starter which was super nice. The brisket burger was ok, but a bit dry. Service was friendly and efficient.

Fantastic spot in Windhoek, particularly for meat and beer lovers. Great selection of beers on offer and huge food menu that includes many local delicacies. Special shout out to the Namib Trio dish and the Malva Pudding.

We had a pleasant day and ate in the garden. We tried the trio of meats and the kudu was spectacular. We liked it overall, although a little disappointed because the 5-meat combo is not available, neither other wild meat cuts. The game was over.
Dessert portions are huge. Coffee just ok.
