Joe’s bar (est. in 2016) is in the Annis Building, was built around 1907, on the corner of 8th and Main in St. Maries, Idaho. This location has been a bar/pool hall since 1970. Prior to being Joe’s Bar, it was named Resor’s Recreation and was operated by Stick’s Resor. Joe Martin Sr took over in the late 1980s, and Joe Martin Jr and his wife Rondi in 2016. In 2019, they purchased the building. We serve beer, wine, and whiskey.

A really nice place in Saint Maries that is very popular among locals. The staff was friendly. You can order food from a nearby restaurant which is delivered in the bar. Prices for drinks seemed a bit high, but that is a sign of the times.

Even though the bartender was initially welcoming, we had an uncomfortable and disappointing experience. A customer made a racist remark, calling us “Mexican,” even after we mentioned we were from Nepal. It was upsetting to be stereotyped and disrespected like this. No one should face assumptions or comments based on their appearance or background. This behavior ruined what could have been a good visit. I hope the management takes steps to ensure a more respectful and inclusive environment for everyone

Came here to relax and play some pool, but a local patron approached us with rude, inappropriate, and racially charged comments. Another guest tried to step in, but it turned into a heated argument. It completely ruined the vibe. This place needs to do more to ensure a safe and respectful environment for all guests.

This place is wonderful, between the cool old logging stuff, the history alone is worth a look. I’ve always got top notch service and the non smoking atmosphere makes it super enjoyable. They hold trivia nights on Wednesdays and karaoke on weekends now! So a little something for everyone.

Very nice home town bar. The restaurant across the street will bring your food orders over if your hungry. The bartenders and customers are extremely friendly and knowledgeable about the area if you are looking for thing to do or see. It was awful nice not having to pay big city prices for a beer. Ill be going back next time I am in the area.

We play darts here on Monday night. They have a pool table and play live music occasionally. It’s a fun atmosphere! Really nice and clean . They make good drinks and have awesome food!
