I used to come here pretty often, but I will say lately (past few months or so) I’ve been more and more disappointed with the food here. It’s been a variety of quality issues or missing items… Such as the example seen below of my pork roll egg and cheese in which they entirely forgot the egg. Hopefully things turn around because it’s convenient being close to home. That said, if one does go here, triple check your order before leaving the store, because there’s a high chance something is wrong with your order.

I’ve given this place three tries and it disappoints every time, from simple things like wrong orders and un toasted/unbuttered bagels to big mess ups like finding whole things of plastic wrap in my cream cheese. Very sad as I’m a local but I won’t be going back. if you really like bagels the 15 min trip to silver bay bagels in Toms River is where I’m taking my business from here on out. Almost choked on the plastic found quite a few pieces no bueno.

Hands down, one of the best bagels my husband and I have had in a long time! I ordered the pork roll, egg, and cheese on an egg everything bagel—it tasted incredibly fresh and flavorful. We were also recommended to try the blueberry French toast bagel, and it did not disappoint. I had it with butter, and it was amazing! The bagels are clearly fresh, the service was quick and friendly, and overall it was a pleasure eating at Joe’s Bagel and Grill. Highly recommend!

This is by far the best Joe’s. I live closer to another one but take the ride because the food is always amazing. The associates are always friendly and greet me when I come in no matter how busy they are. The manager is always working hard and does her best to get to every customer as soon as possible. She’s always so bright and cheerful and that goes a long way when there is a line. In my opinion this is the best Joe’s in the area

Surprisingly good sandwiches & lunch items. Well made, good quality ingredients seem to be used. Burger & fries was excellent, juicy, & generously portioned. Cali chix sandwich made with fresh bread & veggies. I was truly surprised that lunches are better than a diner! I don’t often have bagels so can’t comment on that, but the coffee is good.

What is the point of ordering over easy eggs if you open up the bag and they put too big of a container in too small of a bag and everything was on one side and the yokes were all broken it defeats the whole purpose

I have never loved this place, but find myself stopping in from time to time because the location is convenient. I called on Christmas Eve morning at 9 am to place an order for a dozen loose bagels to be picked up the next morning (Christmas day) at 10:45 am. I was met with a nasty tone on the phone, as if it was a bother for me to be ordering so last minute. If they couldn’t accommodate my order of 12 bagels more than 24 hours in advance, I should have been told so on the phone. I do understand that it was a last minute order the day before a major holiday. The woman I spoke to was nasty, and kept telling me to hold on because the “order wasn’t going through.”
On Christmas, my boyfriend showed up at 10:45 (the exact time that was agreed upon) to pick up the bagels and was told there was no order under my name, and they were out of bagels. I received no phone call earlier in the morning to inform me that they had run out, nor could they even admit after the fact they simply sold the food I ordered before I got there to pick it up. They insisted that the order was never made. I called after my boyfriend left the store to try and straighten everything out. After 3 calls they finally picked up..just to leave the phone off the hook and on the counter. When I finally got through to someone, I was not offered a resolution or even an apology. I was told the woman I spoke to the day before was not working, and I would receive a call back after they call her and talk to her about the situation. That was yesterday morning, and still have heard nothing. In my opinion, pretty terrible way to deal with someone that you just left breakfast-less on Christmas morning. Will never be back!

I got the pork roll eggs and cheese on a cinnamon bagel, along with a duplicate order just on a blueberry bagel. And an nitro coffee, everything was absolutely delish! But.. I kept eating egg shells in my sand-which… I don’t appreciate a rush like that happening. The staff needs to take the time to make sure there are no egg shells in the sandwhiches going forward.. that’s my only downfall… and they should be more careful. God forbid I, or someone else choked, or got an egg shell lodged in their esophagus.. it would be a horror shot for them.. I enjoyed the meal, but am glad I was able to not choke and pick out the egg shells… and was also a little annoyed about hr egg shells. Smh.. I know nothing is perfect, but please just be careful. For your business, and also others lives as well.

I love this grill in the heart of Beachwood. Fresh baked goods from muffins, bagels to my favorite dietetic flaggles. Service with a smile and homemade cream cheeses spreads Specialty sandwiches named after seashore towns .. Its always clean and a real boost to our town!!!!
