Everything we had here was deeelish and all of the employees were very hospitable and kind!! Pigs in blankets, biscuits and gravy, oatmeal, pancakes, french toast, and the sausage wasn’t spicy! The hubby and I were visiting my family in Watauga and they eat at Joe’s regularly. We even took slices of chocolate pie to go.

Very good Family owned restaurant! Great price for what you are served. Lots of menu options! Had fried Catfish today. It’s as good as I have ever had.

Food has gone done hill in the past years.
Lunch prices are high and side of bacon $4? Really…
To add chocolate chip to an order of pancakes is $3.00… wow
This actually used to be a very good place to eat with good home cooking but when your food comes out cold and no flavor we won’t be coming back anymore.

Tiffany was super nice. I walked over while waiting to get my car worked on accross the street. Grabbed some good breakfast and they were happy to let me hang out awhile. Highly recommended!

We’ve had Joe’s saved on our list to do….for a while. The day finally came and we dropped by last Saturday morning around 9:30. I just knew there would be a long wait. Nope! Walked right in and greeted by some of the friendliest wait staff I’ve ever met. It’s a simple place, nothing fufu or fake. That’s what was hoping for.

Our waitress reminded me of my grandmother. Sweet, friendly and just a little bit sassy. In a good way. What I loved about Joe’s is it’s not too complicated to figure out. Just good ole basic home cooked breakfast. So that’s what we ordered.

I got a combo with two fried eggs, sausage, ham, bacon and pancakes. I even asked for some blueberries to put on the side. My wife got the smaller size but with French toast.

They made sure our coffee was hot and full and checked back on us often. Loved that!

For $15 that was the best breakfast I’ve had in a long time. Cooked to order and everything tasted great. Even the sausage was really tasty and cooked well. The pancakes were hot and fluffy.

The service is what pushed them over from 4 to the 5th !

We dined in on Sunday at 1:00 p.m., were seated immediately by a friendly hostess and greeted promptly by a helpful waitress. Our order was accurate, and the food was cooked perfectly to our specific requests. The restaurant was clean, prices were reasonable and checkout was smooth. We also ordered some pie slices to go. We will definitely return for another meal at this great little eatery.

Absolutely our favorite breakfast place since moving to this area. All the staff are wonderful and they remember you when you come back. I’ve never had a bad meal and you get a good amount of food no matter what you order.

Cinnamon rolls are amazing, heck most of the food is great but I think the cinnamon roll is underrated.

Biscuits are delicious and homemade and worth getting extra of.

I have been going to Joe’s since it opened my dad and I used to go once a week before he passed that was three years ago. I have not been back since I decided today to go to Joe’s. I have to say it was horrible. I ordered the chicken fried steak, mashed potatoes, and gravy with rolls. My husband ordered the catfish. The catfish was paper thin and had more coating than fish.
The gravy I had immediately did not sit well. The taste was bad left a bad aftertaste. I suspect it was put in the microwave.since it a little robbery, I took another bite of the gravy and mashed potatoes. I saw chunks of potatoes and hit a spot that I swear was an ice cube that everything was still cold. I could not eat anymore and unfortunately, I will not be back and will not recommend Joe’s to anybody.. The price was over the top for the meals. It really sad me. To say that I really wish Joe never would’ve sold it. It’s a waste of history at this point.

Owner is amazing! Food is incredible! The atmosphere makes me feel like I’m back with my grandfather in our small town going to his morning coffee meetings with friends. Oh yeah the pies will blow your mind!
