Best teriyaki beef plate we had on Maui, hands down (and we tried a lot). All the way in Hana but so worth the drive. Beef was tender, flavorful, and just perfect.
Met Joel and he was seriously the nicest, most humble guy. His dad owns the food truck and was there cooking too, which made it even more special. Great music, great vibes, great people. Will 100% be back next time thanks Joel!!

The food was outstanding and the service was great! I had the Maui Shrimp and Pineapple and it was perfect! I grew up eating shrimp and the shrimp they served was moist and it wasn’t overcooked. Nicely done! My wife had Garlic Shrimp with Teriyaki Beef and she said her meal was tasty. The servings were generous and we didn’t leave hungry. The guys noticed us enjoying the music as we were eating their amazing food, and turned the music up so we could hear it more clearly! I can’t say enough good things about the food and service. Thank you guys for staying late for us! Next time you’re in Hana, do yourself a favor and pay them a visit.

Food and service were great. We had a yummy lunch a week ago at Joel’s. I was happy to see the corn dogs on the menu for our kids and I got the beef teriyaki/shrimp plate which was delicious. The only thing slightly less flavorful was the corn but that’s OK.

Cheeseburger was okay fries were very good. Garlic shrimp teriyaki beef. It had terrible canned corn and macaroni salad was store bought. Service was just grouchy. We wouldn’t stop again.

Meet Joel personally as he makes the food. This was well worth the journey. Definitely the best garlic shrimp on the island. My wife and I shared the shrimp and beef platter. More than enough food for both. Flavors is excellent and macaroni salad was perfect. Don’t forget to pay cash and always tip.

Excellent food!! Joel’s food truck is my favorite place to eat in Hana. I love the roast pork plate, the garlic shrimp and Teriyaki combo plate, and he has the best burger and fries on the east side. All the food is really fresh and made to order. Excellent place for lunch or dinner on the Road to Hana.
