Fresh tuna fish and chips served with cole slaw, tarter sauce and a wedge of lemon plus malt vinegar if you want it. I am not a fan of tuna as fish and chips but thought I would give it a try. It was definitely fresh tuna but still not a fan of it deep fried. Next time I will get the tuna sandwich. The fries were great and the cole slaw was probably the best I have ever had. I would recommend a try. There are some bistro tables next to the food truck to eat there or you can take it and eat it at the beach.

We go here every time we come to Waldport. Tuna melt is delicious. Messy to eat since it’s so full of tuna. Fries are nice and salty. Look forward to our next visit.

Fish and chips were tasty. The Hawaiian plate special with tuna katsu, mac salad and rice was a good concept, but the katsu was drenched in a cloyingly sweet teriyaki sauce. Would have been nice to have some pickles or more acid in the sauce to cut the sweetness. Also got a cup of crab bisque that had no crab meat and which tasted like cream of tomato soup. 4 stars because the owner is a sweet lady.

Wherever they source their seafood from is fresh as hell, it puts the food on another level…. c’mon, deep fried albacore?! Best fish and chips I’ve ever had! Lots of additional menu items like the melt and crab bisque are amazing as well. We’ll be stopping at JoElle’s as a destination every time we’re near Waldport.

Just had the fish and chips. It was awesome, i like the light batter on the fish it really lets the fresh fish speak for itself. Will be back to try the tacos next time.
