I’ve only twice been to Joe & the Juice, and this visit was noticeably more comfortable and cozy. For a juice place, this is one of the best around. Cleo helped improve the experience, and was helpful and exceptionally friendly. When in Bethesda, I will be back.

It took 20 minutes for them to create two very simple smoothies. First of all the smoothies were liquidy and did not taste like they were worth 25 dollars. Second of all, I ordered a coffee and they said they were making it but they weren’t, they were creating more pesto sauce for the sandwiches (no one ordered). They said they were busy with online orders, but the one doordasher there waited for 15 minutes. Awful experience.

This place is always dirty. Workers don’t clean after guests leave and the tuna sandwiches rarely have enough tuna in. It’s the base ingredient. I don’t get it. So frustrating! Try the Rockville location – much cleaner, better food and service!

I’ve heard about Joe & The Juice for a while, so my sister and I finally gave it a try a few months ago. I ordered the Joe’s Club and honestly… it wasn’t horrible, but it definitely wasn’t good either. I feel like it might have been better warm, but cold? Yeah, no.
I also asked the worker if their matcha was actually good since I’ve never had matcha before. She told me the matcha is good & the iced vanilla matcha latte is their best seller, so I tried it. Girl… it tasted like straight grass. I didn’t taste milk, I didn’t taste vanilla—just grass. Lol.
My sister got the Tunacado and the iced vanilla latte. She liked the sandwich, but the latte was a miss for her too. Personally, I didn’t like the sandwich or the latte. The Tunacado was super bland and the latte had no vanilla flavor or anything else going on.
Maybe I’m just not a matcha or latte girl, but I really don’t understand the obsession with these drinks. They’re cute for the aesthetic, but taste-wise? No ma’am.
Either way… $40 down the drain. The price point definitely doesn’t match the quality or the quantity, in my opinion.

We stopped at Joe & the Juice to get a cup of coffee. I did ask for my cappuccino to be extra hot, which it was, but the coffee itself was very strong and bitter. Sitting outside in the shade was nice, but I’ll have to keep trying until I find a good cuppa

Really cute spot to have a coffee/tea/juice date. Lots of seating inside, great decor/ambience.
Little enjoyed the juice, I enjoyed a earl grey almond milk tea. You can purchase a drink card (example 10 drinks at a time, slightly discounted) if you go frequently. Would recommend going if you need a nice spot to hang with friends, non-juice drinks are good (but not super amazing).

Love this location! They always deliver and the staff is so kind; when I first came in one of the employees recommended I get the app for 50% off my order and not to be dramatic but it changed my life
Joe’s club and the vegan shake are my go to, and sandwiches are always full and the shakes delicious :))
(For anyone getting a drink: they use paper straws so I would recommend going to the Philz a couple doors to the right if you want to be able to drink your drink for more than five min haha)
