The food was absolutely incredible. The staff was very friendly. It was very busy when we were there so it took a bit to get a table but that’s mostly because people were not leaving after they were done eating, so that’s not the bars fault. Still a great meal. Best cheeseburger in the area. Don’t skip the chilli either it was very good too.

You can’t go wrong with a burger from Joe’s. Absolutely delicious, juicy, flavorful and tender. Staff is always friendly. Wait times have increased due to staffing shortages, but dont let a few extra minutes deter you from excellence.

Very LOCAL regional bar/restaurant with the infamous burger/cheeseburger with REAL/FRESH meat grilled in WI butter! Recommend grilled onions. Served on napkins- culture. Fries/curds/O rings. Soup n chilli. Simple menu w beer on tap and homemade desserts.

Another iconic burger and a must stop on my burger tour. I suspect they have a unique method of cooking the beef that I was not able to extract from the server. Regardless of the method the result was a mouth watering and unique hamburger. I’d have to drive 2000 miles to have another one, but if I’m in the area I will definitely stop by. Draft root beer is always a treat. Keep on keeping on Joe.

Have been going to Joe’s for many many years. For our 50th anniversary we hired a party bus and took the entire family to Joe’s for burgers, they loved it and all want to return. Mike and his employees are fantastic people who go out of their way to give you great experience.
If you’re looking for a great burger, it’s definitely worth the stop.

Extremely friendly Bar service, nice environment with classic rock and roll I really like the booyah soup, and enjoy the burgers, which kinda taste like they were dumped in onion soup and served kind of wet. Whatever they’re doing back in the kitchen it’s definitely a unique one-of-a-kind taste.

We stopped due to the recommendations George Motz’s book “Hamburger America.” The staff was attentive, the prices were reasonable and they had a nice bar / patio / space. While the burgers were good, the preparation method of using water in a pan was not my favorite. This resulted in a very sloppy burger. Burger taste is subjective, so I did not take a star off for that. My reservation is serving the entire meal on a platter and then putting the burger on napkins. I get not wanting to have to clean a lot of dishes, but paper plates should have been an option. The grease from the burgers got all over the table and was distracting from the experience. I love traveling to different places and this was certainly that.
