Arrived from Boston tired and hungry.
Pizzas here rival anything in Connecticut and are better than everything but one or two of the very best in Beantown. The meats and cheeses are top notch; old standards are perfectly executed, and reliable avant-garde offerings (seafood!) are excellent. (And they have Dr Pepper on fountain!)
Simply marvelous.
And the affable red haired dude working the front is exactly the type of conscientious, friendly, industrious staff member a place like this needs – give him a raise as a holiday present!

We eat at Joe & Pie Pizzeria often and always enjoy the experience. Their halal pizza options are a big plus, and the chicken barbecue pizza is our favorite—fresh, tasty, and satisfying every time. The service is friendly, and the quality is consistently excellent.

Hands down, the best pizza in Pittsburgh! Fresh tomato sauce, cheese, and another pizza I tried called the Ranchero Chicken Pizza… I thought that was the best pizza I’ve ever had. I’m a pizza lover, and I’ve tried pizza in NY, Boston, Chicago, and many other places. That Ranchero Pizza was unique and delicious. Great atmosphere and great people. I even spoke to the manager for almost 15 minutes; he’s a really humble person.

This place is amazing — consistently great quality every time! Their Buffalo Chicken Pie is a must-try — so loaded and so flavorful. Even though it’s a 40-minute drive for me, it’s absolutely worth it. Instead of spending more on other ‘nothing-special but expensive’ pizzas, this spot truly stands out. I really hope they open more locations!

Pizza was ok at best…. But here is what won them the bad review. “We are about to close can you guys hurry and order?”. By the time we got the pizza, ate in the vehicle, and then pulled off from the town center it was 1:03. We really couldn’t have an additional 60 seconds to look at the menu after just arriving for the first time? Absolutely terrible service. Pizza decent at best. No tip, no return.

1st time there and last. Ordered a white pizza Joe’s pie just tasteless and nasty had not one drip of the garlic white sauce on it tomatoes taste like water just tasteless..I mean I dont know what to say I’ve never just throw it all away take it off the menu..okay maybe benefit of doubt whoever made it shouldn’t be allowed everrrrr yuk just disappointed PERIOD and the bathroom was very dirty..omg let’s do better Joe’s pie in Edgewood Braddock ave

The pizzas (meat and supreme) were great! Good quality ingredients. You could taste all of the components, nothing was lacking or overpowering. Even as the pizzas cooled off, the crust stayed enjoyable and didn’t get tough.

Went there with my friends to try out some halal pizza. The food was amazing, and the service was great. When the owner found out we traveled 2 hours to try it he gave us a bag of free cookies.
