Recently moved to Bloomfield and decided To go here for husbands birthday. Sushi rolls were surprisingly good as well as the raw oysters. But, despite the amount of supportive staff, no oyster forks or even small mignonette spoons were provided. Serve was no where to be seen or anyone to check on us so we had to just use chopsticks to free the oysters. For fine dining this felt like a sub par experience.

This restaurant is the epitome of fine dining. We went there for Mother’s Day and the atmosphere was calm and beautiful. They have an absolutely amazing fish tank at the front of the restaurant that enhances the atmosphere of calmness and serenty.

Amazing food and experience. Bit pricey but it’s worth. Fresh seafood cooked to perfection. They have a huge wine selection. I will be visiting again.

Wow! This restaurant has all of the class and atmosphere of a premium steak and seafood restaurant. It is definitely not stuck in the past as the menu has some fresh and creative options. The service has always been outstanding every time I visited. The food is excellent and they often have unique specials. The desserts really are very well done, and the full service bar really rounds out this entire experience. Highly recommended.

Went here for my anniversary, the place is upscale as hell. It’s also expensive as hell. For 2 entree’s and an app, after a nice tip it was around $200. It’s a really good dinner the food was perfect and the service was everything you would want. I recommend it for special occasions. For people wondering how to dress, I would say a suit or tie is over dressed. Nice button down shirt maybe black pants probably the way to go.

This is my second time at Joe Muers I celebrated my birthday here last year and I did it again this year just at the Bloomfield location versus the detroit location. Started off with the Dynamite roll always amazing. But bread very hard and didn’t taste fresh. Ceaser salad is a skip lettuce had browning on it very little dressing. Steak was ordered medium the center of steak was more of rare. Not the mention the top and bottom jf steak were just charred to much. The lobster Mac and cheese is a skip as well. It has a very very strange after taste that I was not a fan of. The Detroit location is much better if you want to try this place out.

I’ve stayed at Kingsley about six times now, but this is the first time I’ve eaten at Joe Muer. I don’t know why it took me so long.
