Normally, I wouldn’t write a review. I’m not super disappointed to the point I’d say to not go here, but I am a little disappointed. The table ordered 2 Buffalo Boneless Wings and 1 Fried Mac and Cheese Balls. Based on the descriptions and price, I’d expect a little better quality of food. The picture attached was one of the Boneless orders. As you can see there was absolutely no sauce on the wings, nor were we given a Buffalo dipping sauce. Now this isn’t a complete reason to deter from this restaurant, but then I took my first bite of the Mac and cheese balls. Based on the description, I expected a homemade style Mac and Cheese with a seasoned fried batter— instead the batter was plain and the Mac and cheese was gooey like you’d expect from over cooked Kraft Mac and cheese.
The atmosphere is nice and the staff was nice, but the waiter was too busy to actually pause and ask how the food was. We were more of an afterthought and if he had stopped for more than 5 seconds and asked how the food actually was, I would’ve told him and they may have been able to make good on the situation.
So, as is, this is my review and take this as you will. As an FYI, they were not actually busy, there were maybe 3-4 small tables of 3-5 people.

We’re from greendale and stopped by for a late lunch after visiting holy hill, and everything was amazing. The establishment itself was very nice, clean and well put together. The whole menu was priced fairly! We had an appetizer of Mac bombs, the mac attack & the hog heaven for entrees. Absolutely phenomenal. The service was great as well. Will definitely be back!

I can appreciate the quality ingredients and the food was very flavorfu. However for the price I was disappointed with the presentation. I ordered the street tacos for carry out online which included chips and pico for $18.25. I would’ve liked to have opted out of that option but figured I’m getting value. I received my order with no pico, no salsa for the tacos and no limes. So tacos and chips for almost $20 was quite excessive.

I had such a fantastic time here! The atmosphere was warm, inviting, and perfect for a night out. The drinks were top-notch—especially the Old Fashioned, which quickly became one of my favorites.
The food was outstanding from start to finish. The appetizers were absolutely delicious, but the real star of the show was the mac n’ cheese. It was incredibly creamy, flavorful, and easily one of the best I’ve ever had.
Between the great vibe, amazing food, and excellent drinks, this spot is definitely worth a visit. Can’t wait to come back!

Long wait & cannot make a reservation but the sauce on the burger (Big Bang) was amazing. The famous Hangover burger wasn’t exactly as we expected from the episode on the Travel Channel but it was good. I was also surprised that they have a black bean burger for vegetarians so I was very happy with that!
Don’t expect The kids mac and cheese to be as good as an adult bowl. It’s very basic.

It’s a nice place to get a burger, but also has a bit more upscale food options. I had a salmon sandwich that was really good.
Service is great, very attentive and positively enthusiastic.
Like many places these days, the music is a bit loud for conversation, but not unpleasant.
Price is fair for what seems to be good quality.

One of my main reasons for going to Joe Mama’s is for their mac n cheese. I’m a huge mac n cheese lover of all kinds, but this one tops it all! Their pulled pork mac is also a popular one in my family! The wait staff is also always so kind and knowledgeable! 1000% would recommend eating here.

Awesome location! Certainly biker bar vibes. The waitress are very welcoming and attentive to each table. Their specials are awesome! I have been here several times and couldn’t recommend the cheese curds and burgers more! Very venom portion size and overall your money’s worth. Good alcohol selection and loads of parking. Indoor and outdoor seating. I will return soon!

Loved it. I would give it more stars if I could. We were there at around 6:30 pm on a Saturday night. Our wait time for a 6 top was about 30 minutes. The bartender was friendly, fast, and attentive even with it being busy. The service was outstanding. She was fun, knowledgeable, and efficient. Recommend certain dishes over others, and she was not wrong. A++
