This is the second time my husband and I have been to NY and stayed at the DaVinci Hotel, but only the first time we visited the attached restaurant and oh my goodness it was absolutely splendid! Patricia our waitress did a phenomenal job and the food was exquisite. Classic Italian food made to perfection. We started with one of the special appetizers for the night then each chose a personal pizza. The crust was perfectly baked and the flavors were excellent. It was exactly what we were hoping for for a NY pizza experience. We had a classic NY cheesecake for dessert which was perfectly made. Light, fluffy, just enough sweetness offset by the tart strawberry slices and single espressos to pair. Our waitress offered us some limencello to round off the evening which brought back memories of my college days on a study abroad to Italy. This was the perfect way to spend our first night visiting NY again. Thank you so much!

I usually enjoy coming to this location, but my last visit came with an unexpected surprise. A lecture from a much older staff member about “putting my phone away” and “focusing on my steak before it gets cold.”
Just to clarify: I’m… a customer. And an adult.
The whole moment was awkward, unnecessary, and honestly pretty embarrassing. I come here to relax—not to be parented. I still like the restaurant, but I really hope this sort of thing doesn’t happen again. A little “reading the room” goes a long way.
Thanks for the meal, though. The steak was good… once I was granted permission to eat it

Lovely NYC style restaurant. By myself I sat and ate at the bar. The service is good. The food is also very good. I ordered lasagna 4/5. The bread service is nice 4.5/5, accompanied by choice of olive oil and balsamic vinegar. The spicy olive oil is especially tasty.

The staff allowed us to come in from the cold and allowed us to order 30 minutes before closing. The food was some of the best we have had. Expert level wine pairing as well.

Went to dinner after attending the taping of the Stephen Colbert show. I wanted something local and good and this was perfect! I had the spaghetti carbonara and after having a cesar salad could not even eat half of it. Delicious! The service was great- friendly but did not rush you at all. I enjoyed this restaurant very much and especially when I found out it was family owned. Recommend highly!

We found this on Google maps. It was close to our hotel and we wanted some good pizza. We were not disappointed. It transported us back to Italy where we were not rushed. Everything we had was delicious. They have happy hour from 4-8 so it was the cheapest drinks we have had in NYC. Our servers were amazing.

After my husband and I got settled in our hotel room, we needed something to eat. We are so glad we ate at Joe G’s Pizza and Restaurant. Our waiters were kind and helpful. We got meatballs and their Vodka Sauce Penne. It was delicious, we sent our compliments to the chef! We also loved the cozy, romantic vibes. Very charming place we are so happy we ate here. Our first dinner in NYC!

Came here after a 12 hour travel day.
I was beyond impressed. Fantastic service, was given recommendations on places to see in NYC, and experienced some of the best food I’ve had in years. The Joe G pizza was phenomenal. The draught beer was great, and my wife had a ravioli that you can clearly tell was made in house with fresh, real pasta. Immaculate! Not to mention, free bread to start, which was also perfectly baked.
No joke, I was blown away.
