We went for lunch today and I was very impressed. Don’t be fooled by their location in a strip mall. For seafood, this place is better than Big Daddy’s and Eddie’s. It was busy with a large party, as well as 3 other small groups that came in when we did. The servers were so friendly and worked together to make sure everyone was greeted, drinks served and orders placed. The food came out in a timely manner and was SO GOOD. We will most definitely be back!

Nice atmosphere and the host are nice & engaging! The food is always hot and fresh, I love the haddock chucks. The pictures below is a new fish, can’t remember the name… there’s adequate setting, even outside. Their prices are reasonable with a great selection of food choices for everyone, they have a really nice kids menu. It’s definitely a hidden gem because it sits off the Main Street next to foodlion in a plaza. I’ve also had take out and it didn’t disappoint! They had all the condiments & utensils ready

This place is the perfect small town fish joint. Service was fast and friendly. Food was so good! We got a shrimp and fish combo with onion rings and this was plenty for two people. I will be making this spot a part of my routine.

First time visiting Joe Fish and I had an excellent experience. First, we were strategically seated based on the wait staffs load. The service was excellent and very quick in refilling drinks, taking our order, and in getting our meals out to us along with checking on if it meant our expectations.

Best seafood I’ve had in a very long time! I’m a New Englander born and raised. I have been in Charlotte 20 years and nothing compares to Joe’s. I had the fried clam strips, sea scallops and haddock and I was not disappointed. Every thing was fresh and flavorful. Service was awesome and it is truly a relaxing atmosphere. Definitely will be returning.

Third visit to Joe Fish but last time was several years ago. Was not impressed. We went for crab legs. No crab legs. Decided to get oysters. No oyster. Umm. . What?? You’re a seafood place. Our server knew we were a little upset they didn’t have anything we wanted on menu and then fails to bring out our veggies. Just a mess. We definitely will not be back.

Wow, just wow. Gotta be some of the best New England seafood in North Carolina. The lobster tail was sweet, the crab cakes were amazing, and those lobster potatoes. I can’t say enough about those. If you’re in the mood for some casual dining yet 5 star food then stop in, and if you’re lucky enough you’ll be served by Susan. She’s fantastic!
