I was in town for a conference and in search of lunch. A gentleman sitting at an outside table of a restaurant suggested that we try it. The sandwich was pretty good. The pasta was quite dry. The food is cooked to order, so be prepared for a bit of a wait.

We had such a wonderful experience at this restaurant. The food was delicious. The wait staff and waitresses did an excellent job of attending to every table. We ordered chicken wings, nachos, chicken salad wraps, and pizza. The food came out in a timely manner and was fresh. We want to thank the workers for good service good food and a clean atmosphere. I must add that the bathroom or shall I say restrooms were a nice little two to three minute walk from our tables. I believe this restaurant is connected to the hotel so the restrooms were in the hotel side not the restaurant side. But all in all everything was great.

I have eaten here four times, but these last two visits have been horrible. One waitress that can’t get your order right to save her life, very understaffed, and the cook just serves you what he wants. If you ask for no olives…you’re getting olives. My first two visits were great, but these last two made me decide not to go back for awhile. Oh yeah….the nachos are nasty. My husband and I couldn’t believe the cook sent that out the kitchen. Great location, decent prices, but none of that matters if you can’t enjoy eating your food without constantly sending it back.

We waltz in out of the rain. Having gone to the Battleship tourist attraction and caught in the rain, we were surprised that the park had no food. A local Google search directed me to a place nearby that was closed and boarded up. This place was open, so we wandered in. It was around 2:30 in the afternoon in downtown mobile. The bartender was the only person working the whole place, and it was a little bit busy. She was incredibly nice and gave us menus.

Bad service – I’ve worked downtown for over two decades and today was the worst dine-in experience of my life. My friend and I went in on our lunch hour. The waitress who first took our drink orders didn’t say anything about the kitchen being backed up so we had no idea that we were in for a long wait.

Nope, I wasn’t happy. COLD food, not even room temp. Sadly, the server appeared to be working the floor alone. She tried her best, but they are very understaffed. Try for yourself. It was highly recommended to me by others.

We went today 3/17/23 to joe cain Cafe…few people sitting, not crowded. Sat down and about 3 mintues someone took our drink order…then another person brought out the drinks. Said nothing to us and turned and left.
