Alex and the staff at Joan’s Tavern in Ashland are so nice. I love the buffalo chicken dip. It comes with two kinds of chips. My second favorite is the ham sandwich. Great prices!

The BBQ chicken is pretty awesome! Especially on the nachos where they serve it on top of nacho chips and doritos. It is huge and only $8. The sandwiches are ridiculously huge too and only $6!! Drinks are only $1!! Very affordable. I hadn’t gone here until some friends recommended it because I just thought that it was a bar. But it is actually pretty decent food as well.

First timers. Stopped by for lunch. Casual atmosphere. Small place. Was very clean. Owner was very friendly. Food was good and tasty. Limited menu. Had the shredded bbq chicken sandwich with a side of buffalo chicken dip over Doritos. And a soda served in a “beer can ” glass. Total 2 people, 23$.

I can’t believe it took the wife and I so long to finally make a visit to Joan’s! But we had a free night without the kids. It was great! The atmosphere, the drinks, and the company. We were instantly greeted with a smile and handshake from Alex. We definitely plan to return!

Honestly not sure what all the good reviews are about. Food was not good, menu is VERY limited, and the atmosphere is very dreary. Seems like only the older folk like this place, which is fine, but definitely doesn’t draw in anyone from the younger crowd.
Owner also seemed to have an arrogant attitude which wasn’t pleasant.

I love this place. Great food! Fantastic pub fair food. Great sandwiches. The chickpea salad sandwich is my favorite. Great atmosphere. This is the type of place that friend go to catch up. Clean bathrooms. Unbelievable staff. Alex is a great guy. Stop for lunch sometime it’s well worth it. Come back and play board games with your friends or enjoy good conversation! Joan’s is worth the stop! The atmosphere is great! The crowd is always easy to get along with and mood is enjoyable and fun!
