Nice little village bar. JoJo is a pleasant owner with a great sense of humor. Non threatening place for locals and visitors alike. Love the old backbar here, even if it’s a bit hidden.

Hometown feel. Great place to socialize with locals, shoot pool and eat wings. Back bar is original to the place. Blatz relief sign is original from 1933. Back in the 90’s- a couple turn of the century newspaper clippings were found in the walls during a remodel- dated 1907.

At one time- Vesper had 2 gas stations, cheese factory, laundry mat, a carpet store, feed mill, Ace hardware, bank, barber, grocery store, insurance, lumber yard, pallet factory, credit union, mechanic shop, ceramic shop, telephone company, restaurants, grade school, 3 taverns and a general store. Even had the railroad at one time. This October will be Jo Jo’s 48th year!

Only takes cash. Burger fries and a coke was only 7.25. The lady running the place was very nice. Free popcorn while you’re sitting. Definitely will be back if I’m in the area again. Thanks!

Jo Jo’s is nice place, but Gorm’s bar seem to get most of the business in town. Jo Jo’s has very good munchies and the female bartenders are very good at their job and fun to be around.

Very comfortable atmosphere. They have PBR on tap and the bartenders are friendly. Jo Jo has been in business for 40 years.

Small and quiet which is what I enjoy. Friendly people and bartender. Food was average at best but I go for the beer mainly anyways.
