I heard they had good cinnamon rolls when visiting the Albany Visitors Association. They weren’t wrong! They had a great display of baked goods and they also have an amazing menu of southern style foods that I want to try but Im currently on a mission to try to find Albany’s best cinnamon roll. The interior was clean and appropriately staffed. Looking forward to my next visit there for lunch!

Food was amazing! Huge portions, but the service could use a little something. We had a bit of a wait for our food, though it was fresh. Our waitress was super quiet amd reserved so she had to be asked to repeat herself a few times. And when we asked for ketchup, we were given a portion cup, for 2 people. Would have been nice to just have gotten the bottle.

The food is very good. I got the spicy potato cakes that come with gravy on them and my husband got the blackberry cobbler pancakes. The pancakes were up to his hi pancake standards. They also have really good cinnamon rolls with a variety of toppings highly recommend them.

The Pepper Jack Mac was delicious. Jimmie had the best customer service and the her choice in music was Chefs kiss which brought it all together.

I had their BBQ Burger (can’t remember the exact name), and unfortunately, it was overloaded with BBQ sauce. There was so much that the onion rings on the burger became soggy, and the flavor of the burger itself was completely overpowered.
After just two bites, I had to call it quits. I even tried using a fork to remove as much sauce as possible, but it didn’t make a difference. For reference, the BBQ sauce you see on the plate came solely from the burger — there wasn’t a side of it.
As a Burger Connoisseur, I usually love a good BBQ bacon burger, but this one just missed the mark.
That said, the plate had a great presentation, the Jo Jo’s were delicious, and the mac and cheese was really good! I’d definitely recommend this place for everything except the burgers.

Food was very good, definitely will try again. Many great looking things on the menu left to try.
All prepared very well.
Only negative was they left us and others standing and waiting for about fifteen minutes for a table when there were many tables available, empty and clean. One couple just left. The waitress was by herself and was struggling for sure, but IMO it is best to get customers off of their feet.
Good service other than that.
Can’t wait to try a sweet roll.

Great place to grab breakfast or lunch. Food is top notch, so is coffee. Bakery items too hard to pass up. Crab cake Benedict or shrimp grits for the seafood lovers!

I was here before and didn’t order what I wanted so was regretful. Today I ordered the shrimp and grits and it is fabulous. The best grits I’ve ever had. There was tons of shrimp as well. Great dish. Take the time to check this place out.

Fried pickles were a little different for me, but had good flavor and seasoning. My chicken creole was excellent. I will definitely be having that again. My wife had the Southern Salad which was good, but their Blast salad is better. We love this place and eat here often.

After a nice hike and a trip into downtown Albany we were hungry. Decided to try this place. Waitress was friendly and helpful. Food was delicious and we took cinnamon rolls to go.
