I had an amazing experience at J&Ls Taco Loco. I got the quesedilla which was absolutely delicious. Great seating, and awesome decor. Especially loved the retro games setup which will definitely keep you occupied until the food comes out. The owner Gio is very polite and professional and helped out my entire group, and even threw in free drinks. Also, the food is halal. Overall, I would highly recommend a visit, and I look forward to coming back!

Food was good, but this Horchata drink I ordered WAS NOT good at all. The drink was half milk?? and half cinnamon sludge that was a little hard to mix due to it being so thick. I thought mixing it would make it taste better but it actually made it worse & the taste was just not there. I’ve had horchata before but that was the worst horchata I’ve ever had… 0/10 don’t order the Horchata..

Was working late until the wee hours and was starving. This place is open late and delivers late. Food was excellent. And I think they season their sour cream or it’s homemade or something because it was one of the highlights. Veggie quesadilla is definitely enough for two meals. Beans were nicely seasoned. Rice, pico and guac was meh. Get the sour cream, it is not normal it was different I really liked it. I would order from them again especially late at night. Delivery driver was nice too, and my bag came stapled.

5 stars all the way this place is the best and has only gotten better ! Tacos are juicy and fresh elote is new does not come in the cob and is in a bowl absolutely out of this world !!! Been back twice in one week and my kid loves it!

Lovely little restaurant located in East Rutherford. The food is 100% halal and absolutely delicious. We got the corn, steak quesadillas, birria tacos, and a burrito bowl. Food didn’t take too long to come out. The restaurant has outdoor seating (limited) and no indoor seating. You can however, go to the restaurant next door and sit and eat there. It’s also kind of small so be prepared to wait if they are busy. This is unusual for me but will not deter me from eating here again in the future. Genuinely good mexican food.

We went here on a vacation and I am sad that we don’t have this local. I am vegetarian and have the hardest time eating out. This place had so many options. I choose the vegetarian nachos. I was not disappointed at all. I love them best nachos I have ever had. Highly recommend them. My husband got some tacos can’t remember exactly what kind but he loved his too. The lemonade was so good we bought all 3 and even extra. Highly recommend this place. Although we had to wait a an hour as it was a busy night and they were extremely busy. It was worth the wait. When we go back to visit again this is definitely one of the stops.

Was initially disappointed in the wait time of almost 40 minutes, however I went with my youth group so I can’t blame them. Food made me forget about that however. Delicious, well seasoned Birria quesadilla and Mexican rice. Menu is 100% halal and one of the best late night spots in the area.

At first glance, everything looked amazing. The presentation of the food was beautiful, and I was genuinely excited to dig in. Unfortunately, the excitement quickly turned into disappointment. The food lacked any seasoning whatsoever. It was incredibly bland, almost like eating nothing. The birria tacos and birria fries were both extremely underwhelming. In fact, I would’ve preferred to just eat plain fries with ketchup. Even the dipping sauce for the birria had no flavor and tasted like plain oil. Visually, this place sets high expectations, but the taste did not match up at all. Overall, a very disappointing experience. I truly hope the kitchen can revisit their seasoning and flavor profiles, because the presentation deserves better.

The Beef Birria Tacos were super yummy! However, the corn wasn’t very appealing flavor wise even those the corn was fresh. Had to wait a little bit longer for food that was preordered.

I was in a diet and wanted to eat something light, so decided to try taco at this place. After looking at the menu I got tempted and tried two sets of taco and a flan . I got the carnitas and carna asada tacos. The carnitas tacos flavor was amazing, with the sauce and lemon, wow!!! it was so impressive I almost finished it like a baby. The carna asada was okay. The steak was overcooked and cut into cubes. Didn’t feel right with the tacos and felt like I’m chewing a soft taco and then hard brick type of steak pieces. Overall it’s okay but not excellent. I was totally disappointed with the time it took, I ordered them through UberEATS at 7.45 and i received it at 9.30. the driver had to wait for 15 minutes to get the food because the restaurant was so busy and over packed. I almost lost my patience but then after eating the food with the dessert. I forgot about that and forgiven them . Nice place to try some good tacos
