The Mac & Cheese from this place is the “Bomb”.. not sure I’ve ever had better.. I ordered it to be delivered for Christmas and it was there early, in trays with full, Accurate re-heat instructions. My entire Family loved it. We’ll definitely be ordering again.

I found it really easy to order online and pick up in the drive-thru. I came right at my scheduled pick up time and my order was ready ten minutes later. The chicken was so full of flavor. I wish I would have ordered more corn bread! The beans were also delicious. The only negative was the mac and cheese which really was not good at all and I’d never get again.

I ordered a pulled pork sandwich with coleslaw, brisket burnt ends, the boneless wing sandwich, brunswick stew, and a side of cornbread on uber eats.
Pulled pork: Didn’t receive my sandwich unfortunately so I don’t have anything to say about that.
Coleslaw: More vinegary than i’m used to, but good and not soggy. 8/10
Burnt ends: Very dry, brisket burnt ends in my experience are very tender. You can see how dry they are in the picture. Perfect amount of fat which is a plus. If they weren’t super dry they would be an 8, but unfortunately I would give them a 6/10
Boneless Wing Sammy: grilled boneless wings (chicken thigh?? that’s what it seemed like) with a honey bbq sauce and coleslaw. Pretty good. Very poorly packaged, 90% of the chicken was just in the container and not on the bread. Still tasted good. 7/10
Brunswick stew: Smalllll portion for $6. Delicious, hot (despite getting it delivered!) and meaty. All the veggies were good. Almost as good as my favorite, SOTW.. rip. 9/10
Cornbread: Idk what’s on top of it but it’s SO GOOD. Soft inside with the perfect amount of crisp on the top with some kind of buttery drizzle. 10/10
Overall I would rate my meal a 7/10. Portions aren’t very big for the prices at all, but everything I had was pretty good.

They had there food truck I’m cheektowaga yesterday. Paid $18 for 4 wings 4 ribs and some fries. The fries were super salty the wings had no flavor and the ribs were under eatable. Hard as a rock not fall off bone good. Literally threw it all in the trash.

Ordered the mixed platter and 1/2 rotisserie chicken. Sides were cornbread, Mac& cheese and fries. Food was hot and ready when we picked up.
More than enough for 2 people. All the meats tasted delicious and had great flavor. The ribs were tender and juicy and our favorite meat. Not usually a fan of brisket but this was really good. For thr price we would definitely go there again.

You can know BBQ is Great at a place when it’s still tasting great three days later – I drive wayyyy outta my way for BBQ this Great! Cannot recommend the brisket too highly as it is really a taste everyone deserves to have! That Smokey flavor – just the smell of it when unwrapping my sandwich makes me happy! The meat is sliced and so tender you’ll never forget it! Not even a tiny but gets away! What makes it outstanding is there’s NO NEED for any sauce although they offer a good variety – it’s so tasty you won’t need a drop of even hotsauce!
What I like best is they’ve been consistent for over 9 years I’ve been going there – always that same great tasting brisket!
And don’t miss out on the cornbread! Has a butter with just a shade of honey – your mouth with thank you

We used to enjoy J&L when they first opened. But, the last two experiences were enough to make us not order again. The ribs were dried out and tough to eat. The salted potatoes must not have been washed well enough because I felt like I was chewing on gravel, and, no-it was not the salt. Like others have mentioned, the Mac and cheese was flavorless and runny. The pulled pork was just okay but the corn bread fantastic. They also ran out of the side that I ordered and didn’t reimburse me the extra charge. Sadly, I try to support local businesses.I hope you find your way back to the quality like in the being. Based on the Google reviews, there seems to be a pattern emerging.

I Recently had pulled pork catered for a party from J and L upon consumption of the pulled pork being leftover I found a Pigs tooth inside of my sandwich i nearly chocked on the tooth with it being Sharp and looking to be a canine. This made me immediately spit it out thinking nothing of it believing it is just a bone. Beyond further inspection it was a ceraded pigs tooth. Would not recommend unless you want foreign animal parts in your food

The website describe there $26.00 brisket platter as a generous portion. My husband and I were very disappointed as this wasn’t enought to fill a single adult! This is less than 6 Oz of brisket!!! Very disappointing, won’t be coming here again as we thought they were worth giving a second shot.

I got the pulled pork wrap and when I opened the box, it filled my car with the wonderful smelll of smoked meat, and I knew it was going to be delicious. The wrap was awesome and the BBQ sauce I picked (Carolina tangy) made it even better. I can’t wait to go back and try more items on the menu!
