I love JL Beers. It’s a great place to visit for a quick snack or a hearty burger. Their homemade fries are amazing and pair very well with their tap selection. Their pretzels and beer cheese are also some of the best in town. The service there is also great. Bartenders are friendly and love to shoot the breeze. It’s a easy going experience with a good meal to boot.

Always a must stop for us Canadians when we are visiting North Dakota. Have never had a bad burger…heck…might be the best burgers I’ve ever had!
One sidenote and I’m sure it’ll sound silly. Theres been a few times a group of 6 of us show up and ONE single patron is taking up the entire 6 person table all to themselves….would be great if employees could kindly ask them to move to the bar lol.

If you’re out in the northern Midwest and are hoping to find a great burger and some local draft beer, look no further. JL Beers is one of the best burger joints you could visit in North Dakota with its fresh briosh buns and unique toppings. I haven’t had a burger I didn’t like yet. Even the peanut butter burger is delicious…. seriously if you’re out in the northern Midwest there are peanut butter burgers, pizzas, you name it….they just put peanut butter and jelly on a lot of things in restaurants out here but it’s still really tasty

Nice little place with great burgers. We had the loaded fries, Humpty Dumpty burger and bacon cheddarpeno burger and they were all great with speedy service even thoughthey were busy. Definitely going to be going back.

My first time going and I was happily surprised. Without a doubt the best burger ever in GF. The Rajun Cajun with the pamesean garlic fries was a great combo. The burger was well seasoned and juicy. My server, Erin was fun and very helpful. I got to try the Magners Pear Cider and it was awesome, not super sweet and just the right amount of dryness, great pairing. Don’t know why it took me so long to go, but I’m glad I did. Definitely will be back. UPDATE: Been back several times now, the food doesn’t disappoint. Just wish when I ask for really crispy fries, I get them that way. The blackberry cider was excellent, might be better than the pear. JUNE 30TH, The Nashville Hot Chicken with cole slaw was fantastic. Lots of flavor and really enjoyable. Still waiting on those crispy fries, I don’t care for those whimpy and soggy fries. The beer cheese sauce and the jalapeños ranch are a great complement. SEPT 2OTH, another fantastic burger, the bacon beer cheese. Hit the spot with the right tang to the sauce and sauted onions. NOV 2-the bacon jam burger was perfect. Lots of flavor, but for me a hint of heat would’ve put it over the top. I paired it with bbq chips and the triple berry cider-yummy. MAR 2nd update: tried the humpty dumpy burger for the first time. My new favorite with the bacon jam, yummy. The apple pie cider was outstanding, liquid version of eating an apple pie. Keep bringing these new ciders, they are a hit. MAR 30th, tried the Buffalo blue chips, very tasty and lots of blue cheese. Both burgers were tasty, the Columbia burger and the beer cheese burger. Quality food at a reasonable price. UPDATE – Jul 1st, the Bacon Jam burger and the new Let’s Make Dill burger are new favorites, genius. Definitely better to eat it at the restaurant instead of a to go order. Hot and fresh is the only way to go

Let’s start with the basics: good prices, good food, good service. Dove into a cider upon arrival, settled on the Nashville Hot Chicken sandwich with jalapeno cheddar fries. Good taste and price. Had another cider while talking. Brooklyn is kind and knowledgeable, an absolute sweetheart. The place is worth a visit, space is limited, but don’t miss out.

21 and older only. I ask the owner for proof of all Parton to be older than I bet teenager had no problem eating there. My family just want to have burger and yet we got looked down like we pheasant and shamed for bring little kids to bar where other bar establishments do have kids menus. Cmon JL beers. Relaxed and casual atmosphere to hangout with family and friends. They serve freshly made burgers with flavorsome dishes. I ordered the Rajun Cajun served with a side of loaded fries. The fries were slightly salty but packed with flavor. Their beer cheese sauce was mouth-watering. The Rajun Cajun included a Cajun lime sauce that was flavorful. My husband ordered the Columbia burger with fully loaded fries. He too enjoyed the flavorful dishes. Our server was attentive, ensuring our needs were met. Service was prompt. There was no wait when we arrived.

Love it here. Fast, knowledgeable service. Great beers (obviously). Not only were the hamburgers great but the classic chicken sandwich was too. Trust me. Try the classic chicken. Put a little mustard on it. Or don’t. Either way…great place.
