We were welcomed and seated quickly. We had a choice between breakfast or lunch. After looking at the menu we decided lunch. The catfish, okra, and fried green tomatoes were all good. My partner got salmon, fried green tomatoes and French fries. The fries took a while to come out though. Everything had a good flavor. We will be back when in the area to try other things on the menu.

The place is almost always full of customers. I was accompanied by my child and we found variety on the menu for breakfast. The taste of the food is delicious, the time in which the dishes arrive at your table is very reasonable. The only thing that left a lot to be desired is the service. Since at times I felt completely ignored. And I had to ask for absolutely everything from straws, cutlery, napkins, my drinks and even the bill. I don’t know if they didn’t have enough waitresses that day, but it’s sad because the food tastes very good and the place is cozy.

Most spots have a bland breakfast. This place had seasoned grits. Which are hard to find because of the salt. Eggs were great. My wife loved the hash brown. And she is easy to please in that area. My kid liked the French toast (she just wished it came with powder sugar). We will definitely be back.

JK’s Deli was such a delightful experience from the moment we walked into the restaurant to the moment we left, Service was great, and the food was outstanding! The fried flounder was to die for! The country fried steak at breakfast was awesome! The steak sub was super! It was all so delicious! This has become our go-to spot.

The food was great as was my first there but the service was slow. I still got my order after minutes of waiting and enjoyed it.

Stumbled upon this Gem. Staff was super friendly even though it was early. Penny was our server and she was the most pleasant and wonderful person. Felt like I went to my moms house for breakfast. Food came out within 10 minutes and was absolutely delicious. The shrimp and Grits I had was wonderful. The prices were also amazing. I mean going through drive through in the morning would have been the same price. I can’t wait to come back and try lunch or dinner!

Honestly we were taken back when we first walked in because of the lack of diversity in the room. We had considered turning around and leaving, especially based on the uncomfortable looks and glares of the customers dining in. I am glad we did not because the food was great. The young lady who took our take out order was kind and respectful. The food was made quickly and it was fresh and very tasty. We will be returning again, may dinner the next time.

Beware if you order a bacon sandwich to go, this is what they give you. The egg and cheese are not implied, despite the picture on the menu lol. Food is alright; better than McDonalds but overpriced for what you get. Maybe the dining in experience is better but from the way the manager was bad mouthing her own cooks to a customer and how stressed and overworked the few waitresses looked, I doubt it.
