I arrived about 12: 30 and we’re pretty much immediately sat. After we order we waited a bit over 25 minutes. When we got the food and most of it was disappointing the only one who’s food was good way dads he got the Phillie cheese steak and Said it was quite good to with good meat and plenty of cheese and veggies. But on the other hand I got the grilled chicken sandwich and was quite disappointed the meat was dry on the inside even though it looks okay on the outside also the meat was very thin and some what hard. I got the fried eggplant for my side but it was disgusting and that’s not a overstatement it was greasy and the eggplant tasted old and I overcooked. They did switch My side out for fries . My mom got the mushroom burger and was also disappointed the mushroom were canned and meat was mediocre. My sister got the single pancake and she said it was just ok nothing special about it. Over all it was not the best experience. Over all was 47.97$ for all the food.

Fantastic little homey spot. I am so surprised a place like this exists in Fayetteville. When I think of old Greek US diner, this place is the embodiment of it.

Cons:
– food was delicious but I wish the bun would have been toasted more as it got soggy very quickly. This is not a gig because the flavor was there.

My wife and her friend love this place. I went today for the first time and found it very pleasant place to eat. The same lady who seats you is also your server. She was very friendly and did a good job taking care of us. Food was okay but based on how busy it was, I think many folks thought it was way better than ok I will be back!

UPDATE: Service has gone down greatly. The younger ladies they now employee are not nice, they don’t refill your coffee, and complain. Ask to be seated in a section where one of the older ladies is your waitress. Great American breakfast. The wait staff is always polite and attentive. Favorite spot of retirees. I am always the youngest person in the whole place. Love it!

My family of 4 got 4 different things and the only person to enjoy the food was my dad, he got the Philly cheese steak and loved it and the fries, my mom got a mushroom burger and said the mushrooms where caned and it made the whole burger terrible , as a side she got the fried eggplant and it was greasy and over cooker and terrible. I got the pancake and it was just eh. ,it was just a pancake, nothing on it , if I wanted something on it it would cost 3-5$ per peice of topicing and it was just a pancake. My sister got the grilled chicken sandwich and said it was super dry and added multiple seasons and sauses that did not help. The service was eh alwell but all of the workers seemed to have an attitude when asked questions. Over all the only good things was my dads Philly cheese steak and the seasoned fries. Would not recommend and never going again.

Ok, so I’m usually not very critical about food. Most times I’m either really hungry or just impressed. This time, I gotta go in. First of all my mistake for doordashing. It was cold. Secondly what was advertised on the website is so far removed from what I actually got. Bland. Basic. Mediocre. These words are a step above what I put in my face. Payed way to much for what I could have got for free at a soup kitchen. The service rating was for the door dash guy. He was swell.

We were welcomed and seated quickly. We had a choice between breakfast or lunch. After looking at the menu we decided lunch. The catfish, okra, and fried green tomatoes were all good. My partner got salmon, fried green tomatoes and French fries. The fries took a while to come out though. Everything had a good flavor. We will be back when in the area to try other things on the menu.

The place is almost always full of customers. I was accompanied by my child and we found variety on the menu for breakfast. The taste of the food is delicious, the time in which the dishes arrive at your table is very reasonable. The only thing that left a lot to be desired is the service. Since at times I felt completely ignored. And I had to ask for absolutely everything from straws, cutlery, napkins, my drinks and even the bill. I don’t know if they didn’t have enough waitresses that day, but it’s sad because the food tastes very good and the place is cozy.

Honestly we were taken back when we first walked in because of the lack of diversity in the room. We had considered turning around and leaving, especially based on the uncomfortable looks and glares of the customers dining in. I am glad we did not because the food was great. The young lady who took our take out order was kind and respectful. The food was made quickly and it was fresh and very tasty. We will be returning again, may dinner the next time.

Will say this place has great food. However, if you are living this world fast paced with no time to go inside to eat, you won’t ever eat here. They don’t answer the phone for To-Go orders and they don’t change their menu to allow Breakfast orders. I have been going here 15 years and it’s a shame this be the case
