Wonderful experience and a true gem my wife and I will return and I’m telling all of my friends and family. They have a value menu for those on a budget around 10-20$ however treat yourself or a loved one to a variety of options depending on your budget up to more pricy selections. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The atmosphere was excellent and not overwhelming. The food is excellent and fresh.

I love this place. I’ve never had a bad experience or bad dish and I’ve been eating here nearly weekly for a year. The staff and owner are always friendly and happy to answer any questions and the little store attached to it has lots of Asian grocery items that I can’t find anywhere with in an hour of me. Highly recommend.

It was so clean, the host or owner was so very kind. Food was delicious. We definitely will return. And I told others they should try it.

Upon entering the facility we noticed no one was at the hostess station. We waited 10 min before someone acknowledged we were even there. After 10 mins I’m guessing the girl who came up was the hostess but she was very dry and just asked how many? We let her know it would be for two people( she told us one sec and never came back). After waiting another 10-12 mins I’m guessing the Korean guy who came up to hostess station was the owner. He to asked how many and proceeded to say let us get a table cleaned, when the building wasn’t busy at all(like 5 families only in the building) so now as he walks away the girl comes back and directs us to our table. After about 5 mins our waitress walks up and starts complaining about how tired she was, then asked what would we like to drink, after repeated telling her twice we wanted water, she asks again before leaving the table. Long story short we got the unlimited for $39 a piece, it was horrible, we didn’t even get all the meats that we were supposed to get in our order(was told the shrimp needed to be thawed out). Between the waitress and hostess both coming to the table at least one or twice after seating us it was just a bad experience. We have been to many Korean Bbq places this is the first one I’d say that wasn’t pleasing! Not sure if it was because of the time(10pm) or what but we most definitely won’t be back. The worst $85 we ever spent and we most definitely have spent more at other locations and the service and food was better! They should be happy with two stars instead of one!

A good meal satisfies hunger. A great one earns your drive. JK Korean BBQ delivers enough quality and hospitality to make a one-hour trip feel like a small price.
The restaurant was nearly empty when I arrived, which felt like a mistake, by the public, not the kitchen. This place should have a line out the door. I’d expect a 1–2 hour wait based on the caliber of service and the sheer attention to detail.
The staff here doesn’t just serve food; they teach. It was our first time, and they walked us through the experience without condescension. They offered recommendations, explained pairings, and showed us how to grill, wrap, and dip. One standout moment: I asked if the dish could be made spicier, and the owner personally prepared a custom version for me, on the house. That level of care is rare.
The bell system at the table is subtle genius. Press it, and a server arrives without delay. No waving. No awkward eye contact. Just responsive service when you need it. The servers were attentive and warm, answering every question we had with patience and enthusiasm.
Food? Outstanding. The meats were well-marinated and grilled cleanly. The banchan selection was vibrant and varied, from crisp pickled vegetables to perfectly balanced sweet bean sprouts. Portions were generous without being overwhelming.
The adjacent market sealed the experience. Fully stocked with snacks, drinks, and imported goods, it felt like an extension of the meal rather than a tacked-on feature.
JK Korean BBQ isn’t flashy. It doesn’t need to be. What it offers is better: genuine hospitality, skillfully prepared food, and a full sensory experience that respects your time, your appetite, and your curiosity.

Visiting the area for a birthday trip and stopped at JK Korean BBQ for dinner one night. We were a group of 8 with a few food allergies and the whole staff was very friendly and accommodating. We got the ultimate BBQ dinner and the owner(I assume) made sure to communicate what could and couldn’t be eaten by those with allergies. He even said to call ahead in the future and he would make sure he had gluten free options for the group. They were noticeably short staffed but handled it with grace! All of the food was good, so once they have a full staff this place will be a staple in the community if it isn’t one already!

I have been living in Milledgeville for a little over a year. And JK BBQ is by far my favorite place- the food, service, and atmosphere is always spectacular! I recommend it to anyone who has or hasn’t had it. They have such a variety of different flavors from spicy to sweet. I have tried almost if not everything on the menu and it is a real fight trying to pick what I want. They do not make it easy because everything is neck to neck to being my favorite.
The atmosphere and staff definitely does their part delivering a clean and friendly service!
And I never can leave without finishing my plate.

Such a wonderful experience!! My first time going, definitely won’t be my last. Friendly people who guided us from the moment we walked in. Our server suggested the AYCE (all you can eat) so we could try a little of everything. They don’t serve alcoholic beverages but you can purchase in the connecting store and bring back over. The booths are tall and kind of enclosed so it feels more intimate. We had a very entertaining guy (I’m thinking the owner maybe) show us what to do and he even showed us some good combinations to try while eating. And a yummy dessert bar at the end! Enjoyed my time at JK Korean BBQ!!

First time here and it will not be our last- well worth the hour drive and the price! Since it was our first time we went with the unlimited to try a little bit of everything- and it was ALL delicious. Such a fun atmosphere, great for a date night. The booths are more inclosed and intimate which I loved. The owner and staff were so attentive and made sure to make our first Korean bbq experience exceptional. Even the Korean corn dog was amazing. 100% recommend and we will be back!

We drove from Macon GA to here for Korean food. This is as authentic as it can gets. There is nothing like this in a 40 miles radius from Macon. The food is excellent so as the services. The owner also own the small Korean grocery store next door. He is very friendly. We are so happy to discover this place.
