Beautiful atmosphere with great customer service. The corn dip with homemade chips are killer. He ordered the steak, shrimp & walleye tacos, steak was a bit sweet but good otherwise I ordered the walleye sandwich and fries which was okay (needed more sauce) however it had too many bones to finish so they graciously removed that from our bill. We took a heavenly slice of the strawberry cheesecake to go Yum! We’d definitely go back and try something else.

Favorite stop in Port Clinton Ohio. Great food from shrimp tacos to monk fish. Don’t forget the cocktail shrimp! Larger juicy sweet shrimp. They also have an extensive bourbon selection and make some of they next mixed drinks in the area. My favorite drinks are the Bees Knees and the Manhattan. Don’t forget a unforgettable slice of the carrot cake. Service is always great.

Visited twice and both times were great!! Wednesday’s is half off Walleye dishes. The Mezcal Cheese dip, with the seasoned tortilla chips, are outstanding!! Great choice for dinner!!

Two of us stopped in about 6 o’clock on a Monday night.
The staff was really friendly and we got seated right away.
Hanna took care of us. She was super friendly and helpful.
One of us ordered the chorizo tacos with the mix of fries and sweet potato fries.
They looked really good, but he said the food was quite spicy.
I ordered the all you can eat pasta, which had four flavors that they brought to you every 10 minutes or so.
It came with a really good salad.
I tried three of the four pastas which were a little on the bland side.
Portions were good with the taco dinner
but I got only 2 shrimp with the shrimp linguine as an example.
The pasta is used as a filler and the key ingredients are minimal.
This place has quite the beer and booze selection.

Great cocktails, good quality food and a nice atmosphere. Ask for a personalized cocktail or go for one of the many available bourbon’s after dinner. Top value for money.
I checked out JJ’s on two separate occasions in one week. Twice a top experience. Air conditioned seating inside on a very warm summer evening or find a table on the patio when the temperature is pleasant outside.

I’ve been wanting to try JJ’s now for a long time and finally got around to making a reservation. We were sat at our table right before the dinner rush came in. The staff was warm, friendly and welcoming.
To start, our tortilla chips were greasy and soggy and didn’t taste great. All the food looked great but my ribeye, ordered medium rare, was overcooked closer to medium well with no pink in the center and was very bland. Disappointing for the price.
The atmosphere was great and I really enjoyed browsing their large bourbon collection, however, there were no listed prices and it was too busy for me to ask. The rest of our table gave mixed reviews, the chicken salad was great, and the burger was okay.
Overall, I thought it was a little underwhelming for my first time here but I will be back.

Ate here last night for the first time, everything exceeded expectations by a mile. Our server Zane was phenomenal, the chips and salsas were spectacular, and our entrees were all perfectly cooked. Reasonably priced and delicious? Hell yeah. We’ll definitely be back. Our new favorite place on the peninsula.

What a lovely experience. We sat in the covered patio. Our server was perfect. He came when he had to do business and left us to be in between yet so knowledgeable. Our food was delicious. Beautiful presentation, the prices were reasonable for what we were served and the cheesecake was to die for. Highly recommend!

Let me start with the positive. Just left the restaurant and the food, service etc. Was really good. No complaints. Until we get to dessert. Now keep in mind the place is a good restaurant but clearly not a 5 star restaurant in New York. So when we ordered dessert and looked at the menu where prices for cakes said $8 seemed appropriate. When the bill came the carrot cake was $15. Totally not the appropriate price for dessert in a venue such as this… oh well live and learn.

Pleasant atmosphere! Wonderful service from Jack! Walleye Wednesday was fabulous! Cooper and Thief Red Wine Blend aged in a bourbon barrel was just the right amount of sweet!
