This was our first time at JJs, Suffice to say it won’t be our last. The waitresses were very attentive and cordial. The chefs were fast with orders. The food not only looked good it tasted even better. The Unagi and Salmon were both fresh and tasteful. We had three rolls as well, everything just tasted good. My wife and I both commented on the rice being cooked perfectly and fresh. We are by no means rice aficionados we just have three rice cookers and lived in Japan for a good amount of time. All that aside, when you hear customers come in and are greeted by name, it says a lot for the atmosphere of the restaurant. It was a pleasure walking slowly out with a thank you come again from the staff. Love it.

If you want all you can eat RICE… THIS PLACE IS FOR YOU!! HORRIBLE experience from the beginning when we asked for 7 orders of muscles and our 12 year old waiter told us “no you can only get 5 so you can save room for sushi”. NEVER been told no when I’m ordering muscles. Then I found out why we couldn’t get more muscles. Our sushi came 25 minutes after we ate our 5 orders of tiny muscles. And as you can see from the photos it was incredibly hard to find any substance besides RICE in ever long roll we ordered. After eating 7 pounds of RICE in 3 long rolls we were not asked if we wanted another order form to order more food. After a 15 minute wait we tried to order more muscles and the answer to that was no. THERE IS A 2 ORDER LIMIT PER PERSON ON MUSCLES. Never heard anything like that in my life. Long story short we had no soy sauce and the hunt to find anything fish in our sushi rolls was an absolute joke. I WOULD NEVER RECOMEND THIS OVERPRICED ALL YOU CAN EAT RICE BUFFET TO ANYBODY.

This place is amazing!! The owners Joe and Jessi are so great, they make us feel so welcome every time we go. Also the food is just as great! The appetizers are so yummy, my favorite is the yakiton. The nigiri has an awesome fish to rice ratio and the fish always tastes fresh. The snow mountain roll is my favorite roll and I always get one or two hand rolls which they stuff to perfection. This is the only place I will go!

They had a new waiter, so maybe this is the reason it was a rough time. I loved the King Kong roll, Tasty Pop, Idaho, and California roll was ok. We got there at 130 we didn’t leave till 300. I ordered 5 items, and one item was never received, and I canceled due to it being 3. I was able to take 2 rolls home because I only received 2 in that time frame. I am willing to give it a try again because of the situation. I did enjoy the sushi. I definitely recommend doing the unlimited due to rolls being small for 25.??. Kids under 11 is like 15 dollars for unlimited, which I wish was lower for some younger kids due to my toddler likes sushi. She likes to eat and try sushi from my plate. Till next time…

I’d been to JJ’s before but my previous experience was very good. I can’t say that I was impressed the second time. The service was fine until the waitress gave our order to the wrong table. (Which was clear because the table that arrived after us received “food” before us).

As a local sushi connoisseur, I decided to give this place a try, but I was pretty disappointed. I only order Nigiri Sushi at ayce joints. With very little exaggeration, the JJ sushi chefs make the sushi rice ball so large that their sushi looks more like an onigiri or a musubi. I kid you not. The size of rice ball at JJ Sushi is like 4 times larger than Hiroba Sushi. Hilariously, the fish sizes are about the same. At Hiroba, I can eat 40 pieces of nigiri, no problem. At JJ’s, if I were to eat all the rice, I could barely eat 10 pieces. Whoever reads this review, I highly suggest you make comparisons for yourself. Me being spoiled from hiroba, I only half of the rice at JJs, and they charged me 5 dollars for leaving rice. No problem.. I will stay loyal to Hiroba Sushi.

This is the best sushi in town! My girlfriend and I absolutely love it here. The owners Jessi and Joe are so welcoming and friendly every time we come in. Today was our first time sitting at the bar and it was an even more fun and enjoyable experience! Amazing nigiri always fresh, super good appetizers such as the yakiton, and the hunger games. This is the only place I will go for sushi!
