It is a great bar for after ski lunch. The staff is very friendly and timely. I had the New Mexican burger. It was hot and fresh, it tastes like they relied too much on the little bit of Chipotle sauce to cover the lack of seasoning on the meat patty. Some salt and pepper helped. Great stop for a frosty beverage as well.

JJ’s Tavern is a great stop for lunch/food at copper. They have a solid menu with solid service and a great atmosphere (based on great history)! We swing in here occasionally during ski days for a robust lunch and have never had a negative experience. We’ve always been seated and accommodated for quickly and service is quick and efficient!
My only suggestion (and I’m sure many others feel the same way) is their gluten free options could use a slight improvement. They DO offer a gluten free bun which is AWESOME – thank you – and yet their waffle fires are the silly “seasoned/battered” fries with wheat, making them not GF. Simply switching to basic waffle fries would greatly improve access to this food, and you can still add salt-based seasonings to keep them interesting. In addition to the GF, offering a GF beer or a couple ciders would make a world of difference.
Thanks for a great and fun restaurant and experience.

The only eatery in the less crowded East Village. And it rocks. Great salads and burgers. Prices that are more in line with something that you’d find in a Dillon – and not on the hill. Fast friendly and engaging service ( that’s you Azaria – and no, she’s not my SO – I’m just a grateful customer).

Super fun restaurant with amazing green chili stew that’s perfect after a long day of skiing. It is pretty spicy, just FYI. The nachos are too die for as well. They are loaded with meat and real queso! Our kids enjoyed the kids hamburgers.

Great tavern with surprisingly high quality food and drinks in Copper Mountain’s East Village, right at base of Super Bee lift. Vegetarian options include a really tasty lions mane dish and Brussels sprouts. Both were great. Drinks were yummy too

Very nice place for a lot of food! We had fantastic service, very friendly and accommodating. Enjoyed the Mahi fish and chips! The Mahi was surprisingly good, as cod is the usual fish and chips fish. Breading was crispy, fish tender, meaty, hot. Meatloaf very good, comes with a brown gravy. Plentiful meatloaf on the plate. Bbq pork ribs was HUGE. Unfortunately it had been cooked for a long time and maybe reheated. Bbq sauce very peppery, maybe heavy chili, and vinegar, good! Very nice bbq beans! There were two desserts offered, both really good! Three of us could not finish two desserts. Bread pudding has a very nice bourbon sauce. The second dessert was a banana, chocolate layered creamy DELICIOUS dessert! Great visit, would return gladly!

Stopped for lunch on the way home from white water rafting. Was hard to find a place with salad options but JJ’s had what we wanted, and with a view of the slopes! Actually golf holes this time of year actually. Food was pretty good, and it hit the spot with us.

It’s a tavern in a ski village at the base of a mountain and golf course. The view is terrific, especially if sitting outside. The food was good, especially the pulled pork bbq sandwich. The grilled chicken salad was also good.

Grabed lunch here and the food is great. Got a hamburger. Protion is big. Service is great. Pricing is pretty decent for being in the resort.
