If there were 6 stars, I’d give them that! Food is the best I’ve had in this area, including a few of the ones in Reno. Absolutely delicious and inexpensive, two of my favorite “qualities” in a restaurant I’ll definitely become a regular. Staff is friendly and efficient.

Now a nice gentleman in Gardnerville at a Peruvian sweater shop….$80/ sweater for alpaca zip up with hoodie 3x….suggested this restaurant even though it was ,4 miles away. He said it was worth every dime….so we toodled over there. Easy to find I believe on rte ,88. Mannnn I just got back from Mexico and I am saying that food was plentiful and delicious!!!!! I got pasole and my friend got the works..one of each lol a platter with Chile relleño taco enchilada rice and beans and more. We laughed cause she thought I was going share with her….only thing we shared was my beer ( driver) and a large doggie bag!! And that cost ,$57 plus tip. Now we paid$37 for that blue dog pizza scrap. Lmao. (That was the next day).

Don’t get me wrong, the service was amazing. But that’s where I have to say these 2 stars come from. I ordered enchiladas and beans. Man was I disappointed. The beans were SO bland that the chile I put on them didn’t even help. I’d suggest using some Manteca or some other kind of lard to fry them. The enchilada sauce. So watery. It didn’t seem like it was made with any flour. It was somewhat vinegary but tomatoey. I can’t explain it but it definitely didn’t taste like it had any chile powder or cumin. IDK, just wasn’t what I’m used to I guess. And the cheese in the enchiladas…. not even melted! That was a big no for me too.

My wife and I found this little Mexican restaurant in Gardnerville Nevada. It is not the most fanciest place. However, the food was great, and they had real hot sauce that I loved. You do have to ask for it. It’s a habanero hot sauce is what I like. I had margarita it was also very tasty. My wife was very happy with what she had and they had some hot sauce that she loved as well. Really nice people the place was clean. The service was great. So far here in Nevada where I live this is my favorite Mexican restaurant.
