They started out as a street truck on Bloomfield Ave in Newark, NJ, and I’ve been hooked ever since. From their classic cheese dogs and chili cheese dogs to sauerkraut with mustard—there’s so much to choose from. The flavors are just as good today as they were back then. Give them a try—you decide!

The best hot dogs! I drive an hr to get here. Always order the same thing, 2 dogs with hot onions and mustard!!! Yumm! They snap!
Tons of toppings, whacky and sooo good! Prices are great. Could live on these.
Try their sides too. Their coleslaw rocks. And if you ask very nicely, they may sell you their spicy hot onion topping to bring home and use on burgers or whatever you cook.

JJ’s hot dogs are the best very good place to have a hot dog with some great toppings and if your in the newark area you can also check their hot dog truck Bloomfield ave. Boiled hot dogs with toppings. Basic push cart style in a store front. Note: The proper entrance, with a very small sign, is via the gas station next door/on the corner on Rt. 46 East bound. Two exits, one onto Rt. 46 East (which most people enter through) and one onto the back street. See menu in pictures below.
