If you’re looking for a spot with a genuine American vibe in Fort Smith, JJ’s Grill on Phoenix Ave is a total home run. From the moment you walk in, you’re hit with a lively, high-energy atmosphere. They host local bands pretty often, and the live music really sets the mood without being so loud that you can’t have a conversation. The service is top-notch—the staff is super quick and friendly, making you feel like a regular even if it’s your first time. As for the food, it’s legit and delicious. The burgers are incredibly juicy, and the portions are so generous that you definitely won’t leave hungry. It’s in a great location with plenty of parking, making it the perfect place to kick back after work, grab a cold beer, and enjoy some live tunes. I’ll definitely be coming back for more!

This is a great place to eat. Honestly, one of the hidden gems in Fort Smith. They have great burgers Philly cheesesteaks’ chicken fingers and they have some the best wings in town. I highly recommend the Jasmine wings with the Sriracha ranch for dipping I believe. Excellent!. They have great happy hour specials with food and drinks and I know during NFL games you can flip a quarter to see if you’re going to win your burger for free. I almost forgot the best part when I take my grandchildren here or children in general kids eat free with a paid adult. My two favorite servers when I go in are Stella and Evelyn. They take care of me every time. I wouldn’t want to have anyone else serve me.

Number 1 – Great Service! Stella, Evelyn, Lily, Kristen, are all great! Attentive. Professional. Just what you want in a server. Food? Great! Best burger & onion rings in town! Do yourself a favor & stop by. No matter who waits on you, you won’t be disappointed.

I love this place! The cooks in the back consistently deliver, and the bacon ranch chicken club is always amazing. They really know how to whip up great food every time. I wasn’t a fan of the burger but that wasn’t due to the presentation of the food but the taste of the meat. There’s a pool table in the back that’s usually free, and although it’s $1.25 a game (a bit more than other spots), it’s a nice way to spend time after lunch. Most of the waitresses are really attentive, and you can tell they work well together, stepping in when needed. I especially enjoy the Hurricane margarita, particularly when the tall blonde bartender makes it—she’s always smiling and mixes a great drink!

The burgers are decent and have a pretty good amount of choices. The chicken fried steaks are good. JJ’s also has plenty of drink specials and happy hour choices. It’s a good casual-type of place to just grab a bite. The service is hit or miss. But the food comes out pretty quickly.

Service can be awesome if you get the right staff members. The environment is active and fun for most ages. I would say it’s on the loud side for most of my visits with either music or karaoke. The patio is awesome for the spring summer fall seasons. It even has a kids area for them to play multiple old school games and socialize with each other in view and connected to the patio. I’m not a fan of the condiment selection. Ketchup mustard should be a name brand. The house brand that they use is blah and bland. I will say that I have never ordered a dish that I did not like the flavor or taste as long as I didn’t use the condiments they offer.

Delicious! The table split tasty fried pickles. The blackened catfish with grilled veggies and side salad was top notch!! The flavor of everything I had was perfect. My husband enjoyed the Big Bad Jack Burger, he said it was more sweet than spicy. My daughter loved enjoying her FREE kids meal! (kids always eat FREE!) She ate a cheeseburger with mandarin oranges. We enjoy our first visit and will definitely stop here again. Thank you for great food!

Stopped here for a late night bite after a show. There wasn’t much going on by the time we got there, more or less had the place to ourselves. Server was sweet and food came quickly. We tried the fried banana peppers for an appetizer and they were delightful. Menu had some nice unique choices, like broccoli salad for a side. I got the blackened chicken sandwich which had bacon, chips and cheese. So so good! Will definitely go back.

We stopped here for the first time on a Wednesday afternoon. The wait staff was very good and they have a large selection of draft beers as well as a full bar. We had the paddy melt, JJ’s chicken wrap, and sweet potato fries. All was very good. A first for us was they served the sweet potato fries with honey on the side. Their Happy Hour starts at 3:00 PM. HOWEVER, from 3:00 to 3:20 the have Happy Minutes. A short draft beer was $2.50 on Happy Hour, but that same beer was $1.50 on Happy Minutes. There is also a large outdoor covered patio with ceiling fans. It’s worth the stop.
