I had the special, 4 good size fish filet dinner with fries with a small cup of cole slaw, slice of bread for $10.99 It was Arkansas farm raised catfish which has the best non fishy taste and flavor. I brought in my own jalepenos and my water in my 40 ounce mug.
It was a very good choice for our lunch stop.

I gave two stars because I’m a big fan of honest pricing.
1. Was told drinks came with meal, charged us $2.89 for each soda
2 has fountain machine, gave us bottled drinks, no refills.
3. Fish; not too thin like others said, but very fresh / hot. Flavor was very very little.
4. Fried shrimp; FANTASTIC!
5. Chose hush puppies as a side, came with two, tiny hush puppies… Gooey in middle but good flavor.
6. Onion Rings; tasted great!
7. Super friendly guy but I feel is dishonest for everything wrong with our lunch could be directive for increasing profit.
8. Fries, pictures all showed skin on sliced fries, came with crinkle cut fries, no flavor.
9. Lastly, was also charged for coffee…. Which we didn’t catch till later.
Edit: after going over the ticket once more once we got home, we were over charged for; a cup of coffee we didn’t order, a third soda we didn’t ask for, (thought wife told him she wanted one but no) and he charged us for a side when the plate came with two sides. When we asked him to double check the order he exclaimed it was the piece of cake and the drinks..!ALWAYS TRIPLE CHECK YOUR ORDERS AND TICKETS!!There was just way too much going on here and us being really tired, we just couldn’t catch it all.
Overall we enjoyed the meal but can’t get over all the things we can see that could be construed to bait n switch practices.

If you happen to be rolling through Brinkley, Arkansas, don’t sleep on this place…..especially if you are hungry! My hubby and I split a 6 piece catfish meal which was $16.99 +tax and included 2 sides. We left with 3 pieces and fries and okra. My mil had the Philly cheeses teak and it was FULL of meat and delish. My fil ordered the chicken tenders. We all left with leftovers. You pick a sest and order at the counter. They bring your food to your table in to go boxes. I guess they know they are giving you plenty. Try it out if you are in the area. Eat, drink and be awesome.!!

We were traveling from KY to TX and just looking for good fish. Not your linen table cloth establishment but great catfish filets and fried shrimp! Frienly service and the people coming in and out were friendly to visit with as well!

If you put lettuce on the bottom bun, then the pickles and tomatoes it won’t make the bread soggy. The meat was honestly idk if that was real meat or some artificial stuff I am not sure honestly. The fries and mushrooms were good and hush puppies but I don’t think I’ll order a burger here again.

The wife and I were on the way home from Oxford, MS., and stopped for lunch. The building appears to have been a convenience store and the inside was remodeled and well organized. The business is a hybrid restaurant/convenience store with the restaurant being dominant. The gentlemen running the operation were polite and helpful. We ordered the catfish and shrimp special which were crispy and freshly prepared. The special comes with fries, slaw, hush puppies, tartar and cocktail sauce. Several people came in to pick up carry-out and the phone rang with more orders while we were there. I heard a man chanting in a foreign language on the TV in the corner. It wasn’t loud or annoying, just noticeable. I asked the young man about it and he said it was the Koran. Although I didn’t object he, as a gesture of politeness, switched to a sports channel. I would definitely return.

The chicken wings are very bland, the sauces for the wings are watery and tasteless and it looked as if someone may have bitten off of one of our wings, there gyro meat is salty and they tried to serve it on a tortilla instead of pita bread. The guy at the counter offers fries and a drink as if they come with your meal and then charges an extravagant amount extra bringing a $16 meal to $30. Absolutely will never ever patronize this place again.

Stopped here in the middle of a roadtrip. Very kind and helpful staff, helped answer questions about ingredients due to dietary restrictions (gluten). Took about 13 min for our food to be ready. I had the grilled catfish and fries, it was delicious.

Clean and organized restaurant. The staff was extremely attentive and takes pride in their service. The fish was good and well-portioned. The wings were good, as were the fried pickles and okra. Chicken tenders were large and juicy. No complaints.
