Residents of Millersville, you have a gem in JJ’s. Drove by this place numerous times are finally decided to pull over for lunch. Lots of free parking and dining room & restrooms are neat and clean. Menu was diverse and they serve breakfast up until the 2PM closing time. Staff was prompt, friendly and attentive. I had the Reuben with a side of Brisket Chili. Wife had Patty Melt with American Fries, which is similar to hashbrowns. Food was quick and tasty. Reuben and Patty Melt were both on toasted Marble Rye which was nice. Brisket Chili was outstanding, being packed with a lot of meat and a lot of flavor. Menu has plenty of options for breakfast and lunch. 2 Sandwiches, 2 sides and 2 drinks totaled $33 with tax included. Not bad at all and very reasonable for the area. We have no complaints. Glad we stopped by and plan to visit again in the near future to try other offerings. Would recommend to anyone looking for a good meal while in the area. Hope these folks stay around a while.

We were in town helping our daughter and her family move. We found this place on Google Maps and the reviews were very good, so we thought we would try it out. We were not disappointed. I wish I could make pancakes as good as they do, Light and fluffy. The syrup didn’t have very much flavor. The rye toast was very good. We will go back when we’re in town again.

We had a JJ’s special and a vegetarian omelette with feta added, white toast, and a biscuit. They made decaf for us. one of the best diner omelets I’ve had- was loaded with delicious, fresh veggies. They have several hot sauces to choose from including Tabasco (FTW). Service was outstanding, bathrooms clean. Thank you JJ’s!!

Ordered a to-go lunch today: two chicken strip meals, a club sandwich, and a cheeseburger, with mac and cheese, coleslaw, and fries as sides. We also ordered (and were likely charged for) extra ranch. What we did receive was warm and oddly sweet, which was very off-putting.
Unfortunately, most of the food was inedible. The cheeseburger had a sweet mayo/Miracle Whip–style sauce, and the meat tasted off. The chicken strips were also strangely sweet and tasted like fish, as did the fries, suggesting they were fried in the same oil. The mac and cheese had a rubbery texture. The club sandwich was the only item that was acceptable.
Shortly after eating, I became sick. The total was $59 with tip, which is extremely disappointing given the quality. This was supposed to be a birthday lunch and ended up being a complete waste of money. We are locals and will not be returning. A refund would be appropriate.

If you’re wanting some great food with a “mom and pop” atmosphere this is your place. The staff were friendly and amazing, the food was wonderful, seating was plentiful and all for a good price. I strongly recommend the “Steak and Eggs”!

New place to eat at in Millersville, I have eaten here 3 times now and have not been disappointed! Great breakfast, fast service! Feels like one of those places that you get to see a friendly face and run into locals for sure. Meet the owner, considering he cooking the food! You should give it a try and support the opening of this place!

The chocolate cake and ice cream was delicious. Cinnamon roll was dry and not a lot of cinnamon mixture inside. Ordered fries with catfish and received hash fries. The catfish was okay. The coleslaw has dill in it and takes away the flavor. Tried the spaghetti/ lasagna casserole dish, but it tastes like hamburger helper that isn’t seasoned. Not sure what the side salad was because I wouldn’t order a salad full of iceberg lettuce. Atmosphere is no different than the Mexican restaurant or diner before. Staff and servers were nice. I would have tried the breakfast, however there are no pork alternatives as meat.
I will try again in the future, but only for the chocolate cake and ice cream.
