We finally got to try this place and it did not disappointment! The service was AMAZING, the food was unforgettable, and the atmosphere is so welcoming! We got the chocoflan and I will be returning for that alone, it was amazing! The tacos were so fresh and flavorful with gorgeous sides. What a great addition to Yakima. Immediately greeted once I arrived. Best customer service I have received at a restaurant in Yakima in some time. Very clean environment and LOVE the asthetic/vibes. Food is fresh and full of flavor. Drinks are reasonably priced and pair well with the food. It is clear that the owners took the time to customize recipes of the dishes and drinks. Better yet this place is locally owned. I’m excited to try more dishes, drinks and share my love of JJ’S with others.

Stopped here a couple weeks ago for a beverage and the people were so nice. We decided to stop there for lunch today. Right off the bat we were facing a girl with an attitude. As if it’s her way or no way. She was so rude. She didn’t want to do anything for us. And told us their salsa has cilantro. Their manager told us they use oregano, which was obvious when tasted. It didn’t taste like soap. She insisted it was cilantro and basically laughed in our faces. At which time we told her we were leaving. I suggested she might try to be nicer. It’s not like she was busy. We were the only customers there. Won’t be going back to try their food after all.

I went for lunch. Drinks were great and food delicious. Diane was a wonderful and friendly server. I forgot to take a picture but everything was so good. Rice, beans, taquitos, chips and salsa. Please give them a try.
