Visited JJ’s on 6/20/2025 after a 6 hour drive over and me and my family had a great time. Food was excellent, from the appetizers to the main meals. Service was amazing and the atmosphere was incredible. Even the owner Jason came out and visited with us. Friday was kareoke night and it did not disappoint. Recommend if you are close, stop by and grab a bite to eat and visit, you will love it. We will for sure be back!

Great local spot to stop in for some hearty food, ice cold beer on draft(they were out of a few selections, but still has plenty to offer), and friendly service!
We sat at the bar, comfy seats and good conversation with the staff. I recommend the supreme quesadillas over the regular, it was one of the best quesadillas I’ve ever had. The salsa could have used more spice, but it was still good. Chicken tenders were also a good choice.

Our first time to going here and as soon as we walked in and had our seat at the bar the owner JJ walks up to my wife and I and welcomes us to his place and we spoke to him then we ordered our drinks and then the chicken wings. Omg they was so delicious and we will be back more often. Thanks JJ and his bar tinders for welcoming us in to your business and making us feel at home. Thanks danny from Louisiana

My Mom and I stopped in there recently, and I’m so glad we did. We just got their basic burgers, but I have to tell you it was probably one of the best burgers I’ve had in decades. The lettuce and tomato were very fresh, and the burger itself was wonderful. I usually put some kind of condiment (catsup, mayo, etc) on my burger, but this was so good, I ate it without any condiment. I was delicious! The fries were very good as well. They could stand to have a little less salt, but still so good! And a shoutout to our waitress, she was wonderful!

We’re from out of town and decided to give JJ’s a try while visiting the Ozarks. It was around 3PM when we arrived. Once we walked in the door, we weren’t greeted or acknowledged by anyone. We weren’t sure if we were supposed to seat ourselves or wait to be seated. There were 6 or 7 patrons seated at the bar, but no one sitting at any of the inside tables. There wasn’t a clean table in the place where we could seat ourselves. Most of them still had dirty food dishes on them. We checked the outdoor seating area and the tables either had patrons or were dirty as well. We stood around for a few minutes and finally a waitress said she would clean us a table. Minutes later we were finally able to be seated. My husband ordered a bison burger and we were told they were out of bison burgers. My daughter ordered fries with her burger, and we weren’t informed, but later overheard the bartender tell patrons who had just arrived that they were out of fries and only had tater tots. After waiting for about an hour and a half, our waitress finally came to apologize and inform us that she had no idea when we would get our food. She said the kitchen was extremely backed up and couldn’t give us an estimate of when they would even start on our order. We chose to leave and have dinner elsewhere. We were willing to pay for our drinks (soda and water), but thankfully they didn’t make us do so. I believe they only had 3 employees there. One bartender, one waitress and one cook.

Food was outstanding both hamburger and fried chicken sandwich. Patio table was excellent for us and our little dog. Vickie was our waitress and could not have been more wonderful. Unmatched experience overall. We will be back again and again!! Love this place!!

We stopped at JJ‘s on our way home from hiking on a Sunday afternoon. The restaurant was clean and the staff was very friendly. We loved the cute names of all of the sandwiches. They were all named after local hiking locations. We both got the bison burger, which was big and yummy! I got the baked potato salad, and Eric got the fries. I liked the baked potato salad, but the fries were even better. They have a nice covered outdoor patio, so we were able to eat with Jasper. The owners dog Ruger hangs out on the patio sometimes, too, and he is old and sweet. We love finding places where we can eat outdoors with our dog. We will definitely be back!

We came out to see a musician who didn’t end up being there, but decided to stay and eat anyways. We sat down at a really disgusting table. It’s not that it had just been used, but it was dust covered. The waitress was not even almost friendly, but she did finally wait on us and get us drinks after about 15 minutes, but then said she would take our order she she got time. We ordered our food, fried pickles and chicken strips and fries, and it finally came out about an hour later. It wasn’t slammed, but I didn’t see anyone standing still. I’ll probably give this another try just because we had some great conversations with locals and the food was good.
