I have lived in the area for years and never stopped and tried J&J Seafood and Chicken. We were both in the mood for some fish, so we decided to give them a try. I am glad we did!! I had the 4 piece tilapia with fries! My significant other had catfish and shrimp. The fish & shrimp was seasoned nicely and cooked perfectly. The fries were good too. We both had enough to take home for a second meal (that I just got done eating before started this review). About a 7 minute wait time, everything was cooked to order. They were busy on the Friday evening when we went, but still got the food out quickly. We will for sure go back. They have a big menu, with lots more things to try in the future.

I recently visited this seafood spot and overall had a pretty good experience. The service definitely stood out! the ladies at the front were so kind and welcoming, which really set a nice tone for the meal. The seafood was fresh and flavorful, and everything came out in a timely manner.
The dining area could use a little upgrade. It wasn’t bad, but it could’ve been a bit more inviting or polished to match the quality of service. Also, while the seafood was solid, the chicken could’ve used a bit more seasoning it just didn’t pop like the rest of the food.
Still, the warm hospitality and solid seafood make it worth checking out, especially if you’re in the mood for something casual with good vibes.

Wow crab cakes are really good they are fried and I believe imitation crab meat but they are delicious. I am picky when it comes to crab cakes and I have gone back for more they just taste great! Wonderful people working there delicious seafood and huge juicy chicken tenders.

Listen up, fried chicken fans. Don’t underestimate a place just because it’s attached to a gas station. This was hands-down, some seriously good clean chicken quality.
On a rainy Tuesday afternoon after grocery shopping, my husband was feeling peckish (ha!) for some local fried chicken that’s not from a fast food chain so I found this place on Google and the reviews were overall positive so we decided to give it a chance.
We used the drive thru, and there was only 1 car ahead of us. My husband ordered the 10 pc. chicken tender fries combo and a Philly cheesesteak.
Between ordering and receiving the food, it took about 10 minutes since it looked like they made the order fresh (no heat lamp trays from what we could see from the drive thru windows). Order cost around $33 with tip.
The aluminum foil covered tray we received from the drive-thru was huge, so we almost thought we got the wrong order until we got home, and I opened it. Check the photos to see how large the chicken tenders are.
What was a tiny bit of a letdown was the size of the Philly cheesesteak since we’re used to larger hoagie type sandwiches. What it lacked in size, it made up with an interesting flavor. My husband said it was OK and a bit on the salty side since he’s from NYC / PA, which has winning Philly cheeses, but I told him what did he expect getting this type of sandwich from a chicken place in Florida (no offense, just think of it like ordering pizza from a diner)
Back to the fries from the chicken tender order, holy potato! The amount of crinkle fries alone could be a meal or two for someone!
Anyway, it’s definitely a great place if you want the best bang for your buck. Just don’t expect your order super quick since it seems each order is cooked individually vs. typical mass production for fast food places.
Since we brought the food home before eating it, it did get soggy, so reheating in the oven was a must. As with most fried food, it’s better eaten fresh! We’d go back to try more chicken ✅️

This is a take away restaurant, so atmosphere isn’t really important. It was easy to order, the food amount is alot, the wings are full/complete wings, for example ordering the 4 wing basket combo is like buying 8 wings anywhere else. Also, the wings are large. Fed my 5 person family 4 wings w/fries total bill $42.00.

I got wings and shrimp. To say the wings were small is an understatement. Someone should have let these chickens grow up first. Really disappointing. And the shrimp, even with breading, they were small. Basically they just cheap out. I wish I could find a place to post a picture but I can’t.
