Just received some fish and fries Fries look like they still were frozen no seasoning at all. Now let’s talk about this fish it was so transparent you can tell that it had been sitting in liquid for hours tore it apart glossy with clunks of batter The taste was like old cornmeal no type of seasoning this is not JJ’s at all y’all need to change your name to Perpetrators. Ordered food, waited in the lobby and seen a mouse run from the side room across the floor and jump into the dessert section. Place looks nasty too if you look in the back it’s dirty and an overfilled trash can sitting by the entry door. I will never eat there again

This was the first time I came to JJ Fish and Chicken and I must say I was pleasantly surprised by the food. The chicken was moist and flavorful, the crispy coating very crispy and well seasoned and the fries were good too. Just be aware that the food is made to order so give it about 20 minutes to get your food. But the food, which is what I’m assuming people are coming here for, is freshly made and very good! I definitely recommended trying this place out! It’s not really a place to sit and eat in. It has no ambiance or a private place to sit. To eat here is to engage in a spectator sport. It’s definitely worth picking up some food and giving it a try!

I was going to order from here however one of my kids have a food allergy so my husband called and asked if their batter has any dairy so we can plan accordingly. My order was take out and ready to go in just minutes. I ordered the three-piece catfish dinner special with a coupon for $9.99. It came out hot and crispy and very good! I’ve never ordered anything here before so I was a little bit leery and unsure how good it might be, however, it was delicious!

Just moved here and the wife wanted catfish and found this place near us. I don’t do breading normally (ketovore) but love catfish so tried it anyway. Fantastic. Nice seasoning in the cornbread coating and the coleslaw was great too.
