I went into JJ’s today and ordered a chicken Philly meal and cream cheese jalapeño poppers. They were Bomb and I noticed they must have gotten better bread because my Philly was sturdy and stuffed with alot of chicken. Lemon pepper seasoning topped it all off. My fave street food spot in Milwaukee

The food was hot and prepared to order. I asked for extra lemon pepper though and my goodness! They added soo much that I couldn’t even eat the fries, nor certain parts of the chicken . I’m like were you being funny or do people actually want that much seasoning on their food….ridiculous! And I paid with a credit card and I know that the city of Milwaukee sales tax has increased yet it’s not over 10%, so I’m wondering why my total was so high and if they charge extra to use a credit card, they should mention that upfront!

New to the area and this will become a favorite place! Had the fish nuggets and man were they good! Piping hot and the container was stuffed with fillet nuggets and fries- mainly nuggets!! It was an excellent value- actually made me two meals!!

The guy who takes orders here is so rude.. but yet he wants you to spend your money. Then the sign that’s up saying prices have went up on fish is ridiculous. Yea I won’t be going here again my money is worth more than the way they treat ppl..
Follow up- I was there 8/1/21 and now they’ve uncharged everything. They’ve put stickers over the original prices. So not worth it I walked out!

This place is horrible. The food is not like other restaurants with the same name. Then they have the nerve to charge you extra if you Pay using a card. Then on top of that When you ask for hot sauce , they give you a container That’s less than half full and it seems to be watered down. I will never return to this j j’s again. If I could give it zero stars , believe me , I would.

Just left this location and I always ask for extra bbq sauce cause they always act stingy with the sauce and they didn’t give me any. My fries had no lemon pepper on them. My bread was stale. And my jumbo shrimp had a minty taste to it. I definitely won’t be back. I never had this issue at the silver spring location. $50 down the drain.
