One of our favorite places to grab plates from. The plates are so full it’s hard to close so they’ll plastic wrap each plate at this location. Great customer service, Awesome delicious food , always fresh. Love love our lemonade icees and that seasoned shaker that goes on everything and yes we all want to know what’s in the shaker they have it on a chain, they know we love it✨ #Vibes

Food was amazing, nice hot and fresh. The service was fast and our order was correct. The frozen lemonade was good as well. I recommend the fish and wing plate. Only thing the area seems a little rough but they had security guard outside. We will definitely return. Only thing I would recommend would be seating I came from out of town and wish I could have ate inside.

Our entire family affectionately calls this spot Hood Chicken. It’s not in nicest of neighborhoods, but I have seen people of ALL races stop here for chicken!
This is by far the crispiest chicken on earth! It takes us almost 30 minutes to get back to our place, and it’s STILL HOT and crispy and Delicious! They have a shaker on the table that is filled with (for lack of a better word) chicken and French fry crack! I can’t tell you all the herbs/spices in it, but I can tell you: it’s the BEST seasoning on EARTH!!
On this trip we got a 10 piece (that’s FULL SIZED WINGS (the wing and the ding) unlike some places that charge full price when the wing is separated)
I’ve tried 3 flavors of their lemonade…(also liquid crack) it’s the perfect blend of everything, the sweet, the sour and the flavor! My only complaint is that they put a half of a lemon in the cup which obviously takes up a LOT of space and therefore the customer pays full price when you gave me half the liquid.
I have only been to this location, but found that there are others. I wouldn’t recommend you go at night, but that’s just my personal take.

I’m a customer at JJ Fish & Chicken for some years at a particular in Clayton County. Second time at this location and definitely my last. The meal I order whiting dinner. It was okay, not bad or not that great. The second time I order the drums stick dinner. Ugh..horrible the Chicken was refried making the skin hard and the meat dried. I couldn’t finish my dinner so I disposed what I didn’t finish. Instead of complaining I made a conscience decision not to return or suggest my colleagues or guests to my busses to tried their food. This is my only complaint food wasn’t fresh or eatable.

Looks can be deceiving. But the place is great for what it is. The food was very reasonably priced. I ordered the 10 wing combo to share. The special seasoning gave the wings an even better taste. The wings were the perfect size, had the perfect amount of crispness, and flavor. I want to add that these are WHOLE chicken wings, not little wingettes. The food was nice and hot and tasted really fresh.
I had to use the bathroom while here and to my surprise the bathroom was clean and well stocked!
I went on a Thursday around noon. So there was a bit of a lunch crowd so I got my food in less than 10 minutes. The customer service was good too. I told her I was new and it was my first time there, she was very patient with me and answered all of my questions. I didn’t feel rushed at all.
It’s hard to find a spot with good whole chicken wings these days. For the price, taste and cleanliness, I will DEFINITELY be returning the next time I make a trip to Atlanta.

I’m sorry but on the whole, I really did not enjoy the food from this place. I was visiting from out of state and was told I should go there for some fried catfish. I think that my biggest complaint about the fried catfish was the breading! I’m really not 100% sure what type of breading they used for the dish; however, it had a bit of a weird aftertaste or something like that. I don’t know what was going on with it!
I also didn’t really appreciate the atmosphere of the place. It was a bit of a hole in the wall for the most part. I initially looked past that fact because sometimes, it is necessary to go to the places that are holes in the wall whereby one will have an excellent experience! Unfortunately, that did not ring true this time. The floor was kind of sticky and dirty, as you’ll see from my photos.
The lone items that I did quasi-enjoy were the onion rings. They tasted pretty decent. Though I think that they were just onion rings they probably bought in a grocery store’s frozen food section somewhere and cooked those.
I think I spent $70 that night buying food for myself and several other relatives. My aunt didn’t enjoy her catfish nuggets, either. The food was “okay.” Yet, I’m confident that I wouldn’t order there again.

I come to this restaurant often to get food for my mother. Never had a problem before today. The restaurant messed up my order and handed me the wrong food. It was unacceptable and nasty for them to take the food back after I opened the container and give it to another customer later. However I had to wait twice the time for their mistake and I politely asked for something for the inconvenience and was told “we don’t do guest services.” I felt this response was unreasonable and disrespectful for a long time paying customer..I cannot do business with a restaurant that does not respect my time and only wants my money…done spending money with ungrateful and racist businesses. Shop at your own risk and make your food is fresh and not something someone breathed on and handed back to get handed to you.

If you’re a catfish person like I am, the fried whitining might not be for you. I felt the fish had a very fishy flavor. The crack seasoning was okay. Likely wouldn’t order seafood from here if I came back.
