On March 08, 1982 James J green, went in search of American dream and founded JJ fish on Martin Luther King drive in Chicago Illinois, In less than 20 years, JJ fish had expanded into more than a 130 restaurants, here a JJ fish and chicken we are so much more than a fast food restaurant ! Our love for what we do is a testament to our success just as it was to our founder, James J. Green.

I visited on 1-19-2026. My favorite JJ Fish location. I got the fish combo special pick any 2. So I picked Perch and Whiting 3 fillets each with fries and a coleslaw and a drink. Usually they will give you a soda I chose a bottle water instead. Condiments ketchup, tartar and hot sauce. Definitely worth the trip not a disappointment. Pull up and check them out.

On more than one occasion I felt rushed when making phone order at the Wesley Chapel location. The staff often have a bothered tone and lacks patience if asked a question. This location definitely takes customers for granted. Always long waits and lines when picking up orders. While there are other JJ locations that are a little further from me it is worthwhile making the drive. I have given them ample time to make a work culture change and will definitely choose any other location but this one going forward.

I always get the Gizzards dinner and blue raspberry lemonade. The key to keeping your food from getting soggy is to open the top of your food box. If not the condensation will make your food wet and soggy. My food is always crispy and fresh even after driving home to Sandy Springs

Crispy does NOT mean overcooked. Getting to the point, I placed an online order last Sunday which failed to process. I then went into the store and placed the same order after sharing the “failure to process” message with the cashier. “Our system is not working” was her barely intelligible response. She encouraged me to place my identical order. I paid with the same debit card and departed with my overcooked meal. At 11:00 pm the order miraculously processed! So I was charged twice and to date they have not removed the duplicate charge even though I have spoken to their manager twice. No more debit card for you JJ’s!! Very poor business practice. Be warned.

Placed an order over the phone and it was done when I arrived. If you order in person, the food may take 15-20 minutes because they’re always packed. We got the 10 wings for $12.99 and it came with fries, coleslaw, and two slices of bread. I’ve been wanting to go here for a while. This is also supposedly the best location in Atlanta. Honestly, it’s a good restaurant but I’ve had better chicken. It’s bland to me. The best part is the powder on the wings.The fries were very good.

This was my order after waiting 35-40 minutes. Frie’s were full of grease, shrimp were dried out, and the fish was okay. The crab balls were supposed to be bogo, but wasn’t given to us. The crab balls were overcooked as well. Look at the pics.

I went to JJ’s at 4pm on a Monday evening so it wasn’t packed. I ordered online. When I got my order into the car, I uncovered it so the steam wouldn’t make my food soggy. The fish, I ordered was hot and crispy. They were seasoned to perfection! I only wish they would separate my fish when I order various types so I know which is which. Great customer facing staff!

Can be good sometimes, but there are times the fish has black spots on it. The cakes are stale like a “sponge”. See pictures… Only go when you can’t find anything else.
