I ordered the catfish fillet with fries and it was incredibly fresh and delicious. I haven’t had fish in a while, and this definitely hit the spot. The portions were huge and well worth it. The service was excellent, the atmosphere was welcoming, and I really love the new location. I’ll definitely be coming back again whenever I’m craving fish.

I will never buy food from this location again. I bought a 20pc wing last night and when I got home I was in for a rude awakening. They sold me some wings that were so small and fried so hard I thought I was eating chicken cracklings. What a waste of money and time.

Had their fried wings, 4 pieces for $11 not bad. Wings were delicious, no complaints. The powdery seasoning is on point. Took about 7 minutes for the food to be ready. Will be coming back. Highly recommend.

My grandmother has been going to this restaurant for a very long time—almost every Friday. She usually orders the catfish and has never had any issues. But recently, she had a taste for wings and decided to try something different.
When she received her food, she noticed that the wings had visible dark marks, and the bones looked dark underneath the skin. She also mentioned that the bread was very stale. After taking just one bite, her stomach turned—she said it tasted like the food was old. She had to throw the entire meal away.

We went here last night, staff was very nice and friendly. The prices on their google menu are different to what they are now at the current location.
– pricing on products jumped from $2-13 per product which is a large jump.
– chicken wings were good and came straight off the bone.
– ordered 32 oz of red beans and rice (they gave us red beans 32 oz and 8 oz of rice)
– rice was gross
– red beans were plain, no flavor
– pastry’s are from a business in San Leandro
– we got red velet, chocolate, & peach cobbler
– cakes were moist & peach cobbler tasted like a can of peaches poured into a cup with a bunch of cinnamon put on top
– coleslaw was decent
– fish was decent

My dad stopped by after passing by the area, and they have great friend chicken and fish options available in a comfortable environment, although it can take a bit to get the food. It’s well worth the wait though, and I highly recommend stopping by if you’re in the mood for unique fried chicken and fish options in the area!

I went there last night and ordered Catfish and prawns. I took it home and ate it. The food wasn’t bad as far as taste. But got to tell you, it gave me the runs all night. So I have to conclude, either the catfish or prawns or both were spoiled. I don’t know what you guys are doing with the food prep or maybe frying in old oil, I don’t know. But you guys gotta tighten up!

They have THE best food. Always cooked fresh for you on the spot. Full of flavor and cooked crispy, the big portions they serve will have you on full. If you make it to the bottom of the box, you’ll see the slice of white bread like you would have at home.
