Stopped in for lunch and left completely impressed! I ordered a Caramel Latte, White Mocha, and the Skyscraper Turkey Sandwich — and every item hit the mark.
Both lattes were perfectly made — rich espresso flavor with creamy, balanced sweetness. The caramel latte had a deep, buttery flavor, and the white mocha was silky smooth without being too sweet. You can tell the baristas take pride in their craft.
The Skyscraper Turkey Sandwich was fresh, hearty, and layered with flavor — the kind of sandwich that feels homemade but elevated. Everything tasted fresh, from the bread to the crisp veggies and savory turkey.
The atmosphere is warm and creative — great music, cozy vibe, and friendly service that makes you want to stay a while.

Even though they were extremely busy, the line moved quickly, the service was great, and the food and drinks were delicious. They have a nice variety on their menu–avocado bacon egg salad if you’re watching your carbs, breakfast sandwiches, and I would highly recommend the Cherry Danish which they heated slightly and topped with whipped cream and possibly condensed milk–to die for!

First impression of Jives. Cute warm cozy coffee shop. Good spacing between tables and nice decor. However, service was a bit slow. I stood in line for a while and the folks who work here were really busy. 3 people that I saw were working. I feel this place could benefit from hiring 1-2 more people. I believe it was the owner running around ensuring things got done, taking orders, taking orders out, moping floors, grabbing pastries. I think it’s wonderful the pride this owner takes in his restaurant however customer service is strained with the amount this owner puts on their shoulders. He asked what I would like but walked away after instead of staying present with the customer. It may be helpful to have another employee taking orders to stay present with customers.
Someone had spilled water on the floor and the door was propped open and left open. The warm feeling diminished as it was cold outside that morning.
The food and coffee are pretty tasty. Great temperature. I ordered the Red Moon white mocha raspberry. Very delicious! The cheese danish was warmed and tasty.
I do recommend Jives coffee.

Stopped by Jives Coffee Shop and instantly fell in love — it’s absolutely adorable with the best vibes. Cozy, fun, and welcoming. I ordered the White Tiger with an extra shot of espresso and it was pure perfection. My husband got the same drink blended and loved it just as much. Amazing coffee, great atmosphere, and definitely a spot we’d return to again. Highly recommend! ☕✨

Great coffee! We were going to another coffee shop that opened earlier while we were visiting Colorado Springs and found this place. I’m glad we did and wished we had found Jives Coffee sooner. We only tried it once but it’s less acidy and “fruity” than the other place. The inside is larger and charming.

I’ve eaten at Jives twice, and both times I’ve had fantastic food. First time I had an outstanding salad and this time I had the “skyscraper“ sandwich which, as you can see, is truly a skyscraper. It’s delicious. Excellent, friendly service and just a really nice vibe to the place.

While my son was visiting from Texas, we decided to go to jives and had the best time! We went on a Thursday late morning, so the line was minimal. The owner was so hospitable, sweet, engaging and funny! The coffee is amazing and the food is even better! Well worth the wait. This is definitely a no rush kind of place, so be prepared to wait a bit in line and for the food.
Generous portions and great quality.
The champagne presentation in the ice bucket was lovely! Definitely one of my new favorite spots in OCC.

Jives Coffee Lounge is a solid spot in Colorado Springs. I grabbed a White Tiger (I think) and it was —smooth, strong, and clearly made with care. The vibe inside is relaxed and welcoming, perfect for hanging out, working, or just enjoying a good cup of coffee. Staff was friendly and the place has its own unique character. Definitely a go-to coffee shop if you’re in the area.
