Our first visit of a restaurant of such sort. We really enjoyed the atmosphere and hospitality of the waiters.
I liked that it was possible to select separate dishes. We took starters, main dishes and desserts. Even though the portions were small, we left the restaurant full. There were a plenty of intermezzo. I tried many new flavor combinations which I liked.
We had a lunch and there were not too many other visitors.
The staff were very friendly and polite. We don’t speak English and waiters did their best to describe every dish.

I recently celebrated EID with my family of 16 at Jiva Hill Restaurant, and the experience was nothing short of exceptional. The views from the restaurant were absolutely stunning, adding a beautiful backdrop to our special occasion.
The brunch was very well organized, offering a wide array of delicious dishes that catered to all our tastes. The service was extremely professional and attentive, ensuring that every detail was taken care of, which made our celebration even more enjoyable.
Overall, Jiva Hill Restaurant provided a perfect setting for our family gathering, and we left with wonderful memories of our EID celebration. Highly recommended for any special occasion!

Impeccable! Everything was just perfect, creative yummy food, good selection of wine, attentive service, excellent knowledge of their dishes and wines, beautiful decor, great view and ambiance. Loved it. The only disappointment was their sweetbread, but I don’t blame them, coz the one I had in Argentina was just too fantastic. Overall, we’ve had a wonderful time there!

Very poor food considering the cost – charging 1 michelin star costs for menus which are far far below that standard and priced as if they are on the Swiss side of the border.
Wine pairings for the tasting menu did not work well with dishes, every one clashed and distracted from the food as opposed to elevating it. For EUR 75 a head, you are better off saving your cash and buying a cheap larger.
For comparison – For only 25 chf a head more, you get a 7 course menu with wine pairing at michelin star hotel restaurants in Geneva – there is no excuse for this level of quality here at approx EUR 200 a head

Samuel, Antoine, and René were absolutely outstanding they truly made our visit to the restaurant and hotel unforgettable. Their warm hospitality, attention to detail, and genuine kindness elevated every moment of our stay. Thanks to them, what could have been an ordinary trip turned into a truly memorable experience. For our year end break, we booked a Gastronomic stay at the Jiva Hill Resort.
The offer was made of one night at the hotel and a 3 courses diner at the next door restaurant.
Great welcome from the staff, the place is well managed, clean and with a massive fire place to keep you warm during winter times.
We found the place a bit noisy as kids were around (Christmas time?) and missing a bit of privacy.
Dishes are tasty and well presented, the Carte des Vins is generous with a wide range of local and national wines.

Mixed opinion for this restaurant: magnificent setting, decent technicality of the dishes (the restaurant is not starred and it shows when the dishes arrive), ok service but on the other hand, the prices charged worthy of a starred restaurant are unacceptable

We took our child to the Sunday brunch at the restaurant le Jiva as a birthday celebration.
The surroundings and (new) decoration are gorgeous, unfortunately the food and service are not up to the standards of a Relais & Chateaux.
Some of the dishes were lukewarm or cold (despite the heated plates), the food was uninspiring, the service was friendly but inattentive: we had to ask for drink refill, some cutlery was missing upon dish arrival, several waiters did not wear the face mask over their nose.
There is a lot of potential and first step is to reach back to the level of pre-COVID and pre-renovation. Probably it’s not easy to find well trained staff nowadays.

It is beautiful place to start with, the Air quality is very good, which helps you eat or wanting to eat at all times.
The food is excellent, the staff are so helpful and friendly.
Fresh food products coming from the farms nearby, so as an overall making the place beautiful.
